Does anyone know if the steelbook comes with the game, or is the disk already in the steelbook, or do they just give it to you when you buy the game like a GameStop preorder? Or is it all bundled in one package?

At this point, all we can do is wait until a CAG who's a Target employee lets us know.

All I know is, man...with those review scores, I'm probably going to preorder Tomb Raider at BBY (for the $20 in RZ points), buy it at Target for the steelbook, and sell the extra copy for $50-$55.

Purchase from BB & Target = 127.62 (CT tax)
Sell BB copy for 55 on eBay -- 48.5 after fees and shipping

$79.12 = game, 20$ RZ, steelbook

Plus I'd have to join BB Unlocked..
Meh I'll just stick to Target. Hope the steelbook comes with the game as opposed to it being inside.

The Best Buy version also comes with an exclusive 48 page Dark Horse prequel comic book that might make that version worth preordering.

I would guess it could be as low as $40
(unless you pre sell it)

For anyone interested in preordering Tomb Raider, today is the last day for the free $5 GC.

Edit: Looks like Fry's will have Tomb Raider for $50 on release day, what are the chances that Target will match that price if I bring the Ad with me? Will they tell me that the Steelbook is a Target exclusive so it's not Price Matchable, anyone have any experience with this?

I thought that exclusive art book is only for the Amazon Final Hours edition. If you got the Survival/Collectors Edition you don't get the art book or the Kindle book or the skin ircc.

After reading the page it does say "preorder Tomb Raider". Doesn't really say which one though. From reading it though we do get everything. I'm like you and got my CE from there. Was thinking about going BB but not worth having to sign up for GZU.

I would love to get the Target Steelbook but man..just don't have the money. It is a pretty nice SB too. :(

I think YMMV based on store. I may grab a paper to try it though thanks for the heads up.

Actually, my store still had reservation cards hanging on the pegs today and although it says "DO NOT SELL AFTER 2/26/13" it rang up with no problem.

Since BB started their preorder RZ bonuses, they have always, 100% of the time, included any and all collectors and limited editions.
