It's always the last day of a sale when I feel all bought-out...time to see how much more money to waste on games I may or not play in the next few years.

And is that Mortal Kombat game worth 5 or is it really a waste of money as I have thought it would be?

Is King of Fighters worth it as well? Never played that series.

Edit: So far..The Darkness, Dirt 2, Grid, Tomb Raider Legend, Rayman: RR, The Orange Box, L4D2, and El Shaddai for 46 dollars.

So either Max Payne 3, MGS Peace Walker, tomb Raider legend or something else? Want to stay under $15 but not sure what is worth it........ Maybe Peace Qalker for co op and.....

Well, this sucks... I just can't go wasting money on games right now, and they do this.

So glad they extended Sunday's deals as I forgot to buy Orange Box & L4D2 yesterday.

Is there someone who has bought and downloaded it today that can confirm that it is actually the Arcade Edition of SSFIV?

It seemed super vague on the detail screen about whether it is SSFIV or SSFIVAE. I have the vanilal SSFIV on disc, so i dont want to accidentally purchase it again.

Yeah it's pretty hard. I try to go "Ok, I will narrow this down" and then it turns into "Ok... I'll get this AND THIS and this and this and that's it... but maybe this too because it's still on sale..."

If you get peace walker I'll play with you. But I hear those three are good so it's up to you. I suggest looking game play videos on youtube, watch a little bit of each, and then just choose instantly from there. (With your gut)

I'll probally get peace walker and one $5 game. I'm not sure if Max Payne is worth $15 to me.

Ah ok. I guess for the $5 it might go down between Tomb Raider or Rainbow Six Las Vegas. I mean, Rainbow Six Las Vegas is like a close quarters tactical shooter, I GOT that (but still in my backlog haha) That probably has multiplayer. Maybe Virtua Fighter 5?


I dunno what you really want with the $5 tho haha, I'm just thinking about games that have multiplayer in it.

I am not going to try to change your mind...if you don't want to play it, then don't. But I will say I consider Bioshock among greatest games for its time I have ever played in any generation. I would also put it and Braid up as the counter to Roger Ebert's statement that video games can't be art, as the act of playing the game itself (not the visuals, sounds, scripts etc, but the actual playing of the game) makes you think/feel/question just the way any other form of art can. king of fighters not worth it online is dead and have been since the first month of release and its not all that good looking

street fighter ae and sf4 are almost same game sfae is super upgraded version of sf4 and no reason to get sf4 because sfae has all the same stuff and 1000 times more extras and all dlc

And to top that off Infinite is out this month. Ive been waiting for 2 years and the time is finally near!

It is AE. I thought the same thing when purchasing it and almost asked in this thread. It says Arcade Edition, but the picture on the purchase screen in of SSFIV. But yeah, you get the extra 4 characters and everything.

For those asking for recommedations regarding Mortal Kombat Vs DC Universe, it is a definite must purchase for 400 MSP's if you're a fighting game fan or Mortal Kombat fan in general. I also own Mortal Kombat 9. I own both games on PS3 and Xbox 360 disc and digital. I would definitely purchase Mortal Kombat 9 Komplete Edition (All DLC included on disc) on Amazon or Gamestop, anywhere from $20-16 bucks dependent on the store (Instead of getting the Xbox Live version though).

My haul:

El Shaddai
Street Fighter X Tekken
Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Those last two could have been cheaper, but I was ready to spend a bit more on the first one, so I'm not complaining.
