Yeah, but let's be clear, TRU is getting all these exclusives and legendary's because they are making a killing selling them. As in, people are actually buying them at that price.

I've held back buying Skylanders at TRU unless there is a deal. I think right now they have the B1G1 40% off - that brings the price down to normal / slightly less than anywhere else.

I stopped by toys r us and picked up the legendary light core chill. I had the cashier scan the 20% off coupon on the website and got it for $10.39...not a horrible price

I got a bouncer 40% off with my ninjini. I'd be happy to let it go for 17.50 shipped(pretty sure that's breakeven for me) if anyone wanted it(cheaper than TRU on ebay or website) w/ ship and don't have tax.

Interesting...It clearly states on that coupon that it should not work for this type of item, but I guess it's YMMV.

Only problem with that is that Bouncers are everywhere, I think your better off just giving it away or exchanging it for one you don't have down the road.

EDIT: I have an extra Jade Flashwing, anybody local to Riverside want it?

He's probably talking about Legendary Bouncer, which isn't so easy to find, at least for now. As for the regular Bouncer, he's starting to become harder to find. Now that the new Giants (Eye Brawl, Thumpback, etc.) are filling the shelves (and probably the cases), it seems Bouncer has become harder to find. However, it's still available on Amazon for $10. Even though my son wants the Legendary Bouncer, I'm thinking about going ahead and ordering the regular version and putting it back for his birthday, and if I get a Legendary version before then, I'm sure I can just take it to Walmart or somewhere and exchange it.

I was wondering if the coupon might work. For one, the coupon states that it excludes video game hardware (which usually means systems) and video games. Nothing about accessories. Plus, according to the TRU website, the figures are listed under "Action Figures", so they may be considered "toys" in the system and not "video games". The really interesting thing would be if the coupon stacks with the B1G1 40% off. I know is says regular priced items, so it would exclude sale items. But since you are buying the first figure at regular price with the 2nd figure at 40% off, the 20% might still apply to the 1st figure. Might make for a really decent deal.

Also, I saw someone post in the regular Skylanders thread that next week they will be B1G1 50% off? Any word on that? I haven't seen anything else about it, so I'm not sure where they are getting that information.

What's the best way to keep track of all the Skylanders releases? I saw someone mention a thread on CAG.
