so, i got the free lighter from camel, but it seems they don't fill it with fuel. it seems i now need lighter fluid. is this something that i'm suppose to buy at the supermarket or is this some sort of service they do at the places they sell zippo lighters???

You shouldn't have too much of a problem finding it. I bought some at a gas station recently.

Buy it at the store. Take apart the zippo, (just the shell, from the main part) then lift up that little cottony/foam kinda thing and squirt the fluid right in there till it's full.

I bought a gunsmith cats (anime) zippo lighter a while back. I bought the fluid, filled it up and started trying to light it over the sink, but it wouldn't light at first. After a few more flips the whole top lit, the flame looked a little big so I dropped it into the sink. I must have got the fluid on the lighter casing and on my hand, since 4 of my fingers were on fire. I tried blowing them out, then when that didn't work (tried for 2 seconds), I turned the water and put my fingers out. Didn't really hurt, it only stung a bit after I put it out. I lost all the hair on those 4 fingers, and I never did figure out how to get that zippo lighter to work.

Yah, its kind of a pain fillling zippos, especially since the fluid evaporates after awhile.
I myself own 5 i think, and my fav is the Cowboy Bebop one, followed by the SA Spurs.

your actually supposed to soak the cotton with the fluid.

if you over fill a zippo the flint will get wet and won't work till it dries :wink:
