If so, around how many games do you have?

I got around 50 games for it. Half of them are backups though.

My ports fried or something during College. Sega has a bad reputation with me for having systems crap out quickly. Sega CD bombed as I sold it shortly after I purchased it. My Saturn died during a thunderstorm even with a surge protector. My Gamegears sound just went out last month.

The best and most durable system imho is the Sega Genesis. It's the only system that still lasts with me from Sega. Course my NES works like new with a pin connector, and I haven't heard much problems with the N64 or SNES.

I may be getting a DC again sometime just to play Shenmue 1, Street Fighter 3 and the first Soul Calibur, but I doubt it.

I got a Dreamcast right after they announced they were discontinuing it. Too bad it didn't ever get to go head-to-head with PS2. Jet Grind Radio is one of the best games ever made.

not one of the controllers I ever used on that machine took into consideration the physical mechanics of the human hand -- NOT ONE!

The closest that any of them ever came was a Pelican prepackaged with Echo the Dolphin-- and that broke down after a few months of use because the joystick no longer recognized "left"

If I took apart all the dreamcast Controller makes I own, and rebuilt them into one controller -- it would be one bad ass controller ,because most of them got at least one thing right, but who wants to do all that work?

I just ordered a Joybox adapter, so I can use my PS/2 and Saturn controllers on my dream cast-- finally going to get some quality pain-free time out of my prematurely buried Sega friend :-)

Not many people did. Only 8 million sold world-wide. Still-born console.

Why the Dreamcast was great...

First off I'd like to state fist off IMHO that soul calibur is the best fighting game on any system to date. The Dreamcast was the first console to grace 128 mb graphics. With the DC came Soul Calibur, NFL 2K which acually got me back into football after dealing with a dismal madden99 on the N64, it was the best football game I played up until then, Dead or Alive 2 was another one of my favorite fighting games with stunning graphics and the ability to reveal another insite on videogames that you never thought possible. I enjoyed Shenmue very much and I even went as far as getting a boot disc and the Import just to play the sequel, I later found the xbox version of the same game for only 10 dollars courtesy of web sites like this. Above that the DC ebraced titles like Grandia 2 and Skies of Arcadia which I both enjoyed very much.

I have like 16 games, 3 copied. Well, 18 if you count 2 defective copies of Shenmue II, but now that I have Xbox...

I have a bunch of great DC games: JSR, Shenmue, Soul Calibur, Crazy Taxi, Sonic Adventure, Seaman...

I had Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, but I sold it...

I also have a Dreamcast from day one, 9/9/99! I have over 60 original games that I bought all brand new. 6 VMU's including the 4X VMU, 2 controllers, 2 jump packs, 1 fishing controller, 1 keyboard and 1 microphone that are all official Sega accessories. I also have 2 Ascii Fighter FT pads that are the Capcom VS. SNK versions that came with the trading cards! I still need to get about 50 more games, the official mouse and 2 more controllers to complete my Dreamcast collection...

Oops, I almost forgot I need to get 2 of those X-Arcade sticks. I wonder why there's no Sega Saturn adaptor for the X-Arcade? The Saturn like the Dreamcast are "fighting game systems"...

Yup, got the DC...Have about 50 games or so...a good system that is underrated by most but overrated by some...Lots of very good games, but not enough great AAA games IMO. Sega was one step ahead of the competition once again and two steps ahead of the public, which is why they once again failed from a sales point of view.

I have about 25 games. All legit and a couple of imports. Bunch of ODCM discs, Keyboard, mouse, 4 controllers, slew of VMU's, Gameshark ( used as bootdisc only). Great system. I really miss it. I'm working on getting an adapter so I can use my new MAS stick on it. Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Soul Calibur mmmm.....

One thing though. Can someone tell me why Sonic Adventure 2 and Virtua Tennis 2 is still so damn expensive. Both are still like $30 bucks around where I live.
