This receives the official stamp of LAME! :x

I was really looking forward to back-to-back months of Wario Ware goodness, although I'd be more disappointed if I didn't have the PSP to look forward to.

I wonder what the hold-up is?

but it's not like it's the first release of this game. japan already has it out for months.

I think I agree with ign's view that they're delaying it so warioware touched might sell a little more. or perhaps there's nothing much out in april for nintendo? (their baseball game is pushed from april to may)

Maybe they're doing it to avoid the market. Look at all the stuff that's coming out from now until the end of April (or is already out). Republic Commando, Brothers in Arms, Rainbow Six: Lockdown, Timesplitters, Chaos Theory, Wrestlemania, Lego Star Wars, Doom 3, Unreal Championship 2, Jade Empire, Area 51, Resident Evil Outbreak File #2, Metal Slug 4 & 5, etc.. but at the end of April, the hot releases die down.. Warioware could easily get lost in the mix, I guess they figured people wouldn't have enough money (like me)..

..or maybe they're just not done?

While I agree with you that releasing WW into that crowd would lead to a few missed sales, I don't think Wario targets the same market that the games you listed go after (Not to mention that console games and portable games hold very different market shares to begin with). It's like the same reason movie studios release a romantic comedy in the midst of the action movie heavy summer, the movies attract very different crowds.

I know gamers can be an eclectic bunch which is why I concede that the games you listed could steal away some sales, but I personally have no desire to purchase any of the games you listed. Had you mentioned God of War or Metal Gear Acid I might have agreed with you.

You're 100% correct!!!

There's a SHIT LOAD of games coming out in March not to mention the PsP and it's foolish/great 20+ game launch.

I'd think it might be a very smart idea to launch WarioWare when the PSP is coming out to show that Nintendo and the Gameboy line are all about innovation and fun.

WW:T was reviewed in the new EGM, so it is finished, or nearly finished. Its wierd that Nintendo would push it back.
