I have a friend who likes to buy and trade-in game systems one after another. He bought a PS2, traded in for a Gamecube. Then 2 weeks later, got a GBA SP, then 3 weeks later traded it in for a DS. Now he recently bought a laptop, and has stopped playing the DS altogether. I'm pretty sure he'll sell it to me, rather than trading it in--but I don't know what to offer. I generally would rather have new than used, but if I can get a deal, and yet be fair to him, I'd probably give him the cash for his DS.

So....what's a fair price? Anybody know the current trade-in value at EB and Gamestop?

Any thoughts are appreciated.....

I'd say $100-$110 is fair. You can buy a new one for $129.99 now in some places.
