The first one was great in terms of modding, but the second one is just AMAZING with ragdoll physics and whatnot. Check out these mods:

http://www.levels4you.com/sections/m...ex.l4y?cat=146

Register for the site and download the 'Close to Truth' mod. This is insane. It's basically Max as Neo (I realize that there's a billion other mods like that out there) and Mona is Trinity. Each character has special moves depending on what guns you have out, how you shootdodge, etc. For example.. shootdodge to the left or right with pistols out and "Neo" does a cartwheel while firing.. he can also lean left and right.. but check this out. I was randomly playing and I hit backwards and jump and this happened.

I saw this and I was like.. YES!! This is the end all be all of Matrix games and it's GREAT. If you jump, he crouches like he did in Reloaded and Revolutions, and slams into the ground..

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...atrixslam2.jpg

So while i've been playing that and just generally messing around for the past few weeks, I look at the top and it says "Play as Mona" on the main menu. This could be interesting, so I chose her, and.. holy crap.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...trixcrouch.jpg
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...matrixpose.jpg

That's her pose if she jumps straight up..

On this one, she starts off with her arms crossed and firing..

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...atrixcross.jpg

..then straightens her arms, thus taking out every single person in a 180 degree radius.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...trixacross.jpg

Crouching and cross firing..

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...xcrossfire.jpg

A nice pose..

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v8...atrixpose2.jpg

And Trinity's kick!

So if you own Max Payne 2 (and most of you should, it's been on sale for 9.99 multiple times), you owe it to yourself to dig it out, install it, register for a free account on levels4you, and download this mod! Check out other mods, too, but check this one out! It's AMAZING.

But seriously, those mods look like fun, but I don't enjoy PC gaming so I'll probably never try them.

You are not the only one. I beat the first one probably 7 times and only beat the second one once.

I probably will download these mods if I can get my internet working downstairs (either a blown port on my router or PCI card, as my PS2 and upstairs computer are both able to access the internet)

Dont even get me started on that turd of a movie.

Not a single frame of "Equilibrium" contains even a whiff of originality. If it's not imitating Orwell, Bradbury and Huxley, it's lifting scenes wholesale from "Metropolis," "The Matrix," "RoboCop," "Blade Runner," "Gattaca," and even "Citizen Kane."

Well I hope you don't think the Matrix was original? It's far from that...

Also, you just named extremely influential sci-fi films and one film that is basically a pioneer film in filmmaking techniques. You'd be hard pressed to find an action/sci-fi film now days that didn't have scenes similar to those movies. In fact many of the shots in films you listed were taken from or influenced by shots from others film you listed (ex. Blade Runner's set designs and shots were largely influenced by Metropolis). Anymore you can't create an entirely original film, but Equilibrium still created things that were entertaining and interesting.

Besides I didn't say that to start a film debate...I only thought it odd that you'd those things in a Matrix mod of a game.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
