This thread is not intended to be a debate about how great or horrible the DS is. I have a DS, and looking towards the future... I'm hyped about the nect couple of months. Adjust your view and look what we've got to tide us over before the craziness of DS. Check out the games that are being released before April worth something:

Yoshi's Touch & Go
Atari Classic Collection
Rayman DS
Polarium
PacPix
PuyoPop Fever
Meteos

I'm pretty damn excited actually. Yoshi's Touch & Go imparticular is going to be awesome, great use of the DS feature.

Polarium should be on your radar if it isn't. It really is the DS's Tetris, I've played it... and its about as addicting. GREAT stuff...

PacPix got an AMAZING review from Famitsu... so I'm damn excited. (Google "Famitsu PacPix")

Overall... this is a pretty damn good series of games until E3 hits. E3 is going to be amazing, and tomorrow (when we should find out about DS online plans) will bring nothing but good news about the DS.

I'm more than happy about my deiscion... hurray for the DS.

EDIT: How can I forget about Meteos?!?! The game that got a 38/40 on Famitsu... and Famitsu is pretty damn hard on most games.

Yup! All of those games look great, and I'm really interested to see how gamespot scores Pac Pix and Polarium.

Can't wait!

Out of the games on that list I only want Pac-Pix, and Yoshi. Everything else I'll pick up only if they drop to $15-$20.

Does anyone know if Puyo or Polarium have one cart multiplayer (the DS download feature)? If so then they would be must buys...if not, I'll wait.

YES! Finally some love for my DS. I'll be picking up Yoshi, Atari, Polarium, and PacPix. Rayman and Puyo Pop don't really interest me.

Did they put a date on Jam with the Band yet? I kept watching all these videos on the JPN Touch DS site, I want that more than anything else.

Polarium is... blah, maybe getting it in English will make it more enjoyable.

Does anyone know the release date of PacPix?

I'm glad these are coming out - hopefully that'll put some pressure for the 'older' games to come down in price or get clearanced off (and not just Sprung and Ping Pals).

Nice to hear some positive perspective from a DS owner. I feel the same way about the system's bright future. But I do have different tastes than you. Out of your list I would rate Yoshi, Pac Pix, and Meteos as "Must Buys"; Polarium as a good budget pick-up, and PuyoPop Fever as a 'Five dollar' title. Rayman DS and Atari Classics look downright terrible... not sure how they made your list.

Thanks for the link joystickz. I looked for it for quite a while and I didn't find anything about it.

It is an exciting time to be a DS owner. Some of the most innovative and original video games in the history of the industry are to be released all throughout this year.
