Well, at least in So Cal.

Xenosaga at 34.99, normally they only discount the stuff near launch right? I think this hints to across the board price drops sooner rather than later.

Demon Stone for the PS2 is $19.99

I found Disgaea for the PS2 @ $49.99... This seems to be a re-release, the box art is a little different...

Nope, there hasn't been a re-release of Disgaea in a long time. I think that shortly after it came out, due to demand it was re-released twice in limited quantities. I don't think there is a difference between any of them, there might though as some of the first printing's might be some sort of SE/CE/LE that came with a soundtrack or something, but I don't think so. 95% sure on that. The reason why you found this game at Fry's is because well, Fry's is kind of like a non-membership warehouse where they receive a lot of stock. Mine still has a lot as well, but sadly, not at CAG prices or prices that I'm willing to pay.

I've actually seen it where they will discount something about a week after release. We probably won't see a price drop on this game any time soon since it just came out, what, two or three weeks ago. Give it at least another 3-4 months till we see a widespread price drop. Don't forget that this is Fry's we are talking about and they tend to have greater discounts on recently released games than other retailers.

today at Frys I saw yager XB for 6.90, and capcom vs. snk 2 xb for $29.90. Just a heads up for anyone who is interested in those games. This was at the frys in Anaheim.

YES!!!! After so much hoping, I think a Fry's may be opening up in Indy. Drove by a huge location on the far side of town, but I'm not sure when it'll open. Any mention of that in recent ads? It's almost always late at night when I drive by there and I don't want to drive down and find out it's not yet open since it's quite a ways from me.

This place is huge though. About twice the size of local Best Buys. I hope they're opening soon. It's not listed on their website and I haven't heard of any news here that a store is opening.

Nice to see that Full Metal Alchemist and Samurai Legend Musashi are coming down in price at Fry's. Still too high for me as I'll wait for them to be 19.99 each.

I think there should be a mention in this week's Fry's taht you can get Nero 6 Ultra Edition for $20 after two mail in rebates. The first is a store rebate for $20 off and the second is an upgrade rebate, which is also $20. Awesome, awesome program. A must for most computers IMHO.
