It's so lame that Darkstalkers wasn't reprogrammed for a 16x9 screen.

Capcom hasnt' changed the art for some of these sprites for 15 years and you expect them to change something now?

Speaking about Darkstalkers...It really sucks that the controls are a problem and will be for all fighting games. The only portable that pulled off a good control scheme for fighters was the NGPC. There goes my dream of having a good portable version of Street Fighter to play. (I love Capcom vs. SNK - MOTM for the NGPC but I need an updated one graphics wise!)

Gamespot review of Spider-Man 2 agrees with the IGN one.

Sounds like it is fun while it lasts, anyway.

I expect many have already seen this, but 1up.com and gamespot.com rated Darkstalkers a bit higher than IGN.

Gamespot 8.1
http://www.gamespot.com/psp/action/d...s3/review.html

1up.com 8.5
http://www.1up.com/do/reviewPage?cId=3138906&did=1

So Wipeout beat Ridge Racer on IGN? That surprises me. Maybe I should scrounge up three more cheap games to trade in at EB.

Gamespot said in their review that Darkstalkers is probably the best portable fighting game ever. Looks like a must buy for fighter fans.

Bagh...I have my copy of Pure sitting here, watching me. Grabbed it on my way out today, since it was in. Stupid as hell, but hey, figured since it was PiF, might as well give them the NR tracking sale. If mocks me now, from the future. It laughs backwards at me from next thursday, until I can truly caress and enjoy it.

oh! milkshakes...

the reviews are actually pretty much what expected so far =). The only ones I werent sure of were probably need for speed 2 and dark stalkers. Good to see 3/4 of the games i've bought have high ratings. Only one left is untold legends. It seems Untold legends and Ridgeracer is selling out of preorders. it's crazy hehe.
