Well I got thug the other day at my EB games store, and i've been playing it every since than. I'm an old school Tony Hawk guy, i never did really get into the whole thug thing, but i still respect it for being what it is. Now, as far as a portable game goes, thug 2 is amazing. Its a game where you can pick it up, play it for 20 min, beat 3 goals and put the system on sleep mode until my next chance to play it again. The controls took some getting used to, but after playing for about 10 min. you'll have them down. Graphically, the game is near flawless, its gorgeous, the polygons look great theres little to NO tearing of the polygons at all. After seeing this game run i didn't think the PSP could look any nicer, than.....

WIPEout pure popped in our store today, i instantly went home on my break grabbed 3 shitty games that weren't POX in our system and traded them in for a free Wipeout Pure. I popped it in and my jaw dropped. I wish this game was on PS2, yeah its that good. I played XL and WO1 but was just a so so fan, but the thing that makes this so sweet is that its in my hands. I look down and realize that i'm playing a freaking PS2 looking game in my hands. The gameplay is awesome, control is hard cause i'm not used to the wipeout series, but i'm getting the hang of it. The graphics, well lets just say as of now this is the BEST looking game i have ever seen on a portable.

Next week monday, we get Twisted metal, which i have to get B/c i'm a HUGE fan of the series and we have that promo trade in 3 get free PSP game. I'll review that. on the 22 we get Brother hood my most anticipated game, Imagine champions of norrath in my palms

Till next time

M.n

PS keep an eye out for my stuff from E3 this year i got a pass from my bro so i'm getting in early and will post some pics if i'm allowed to take them!

Why would you need a pass from him? Didn't you say you were the manager of a game store? "Getting in early"? wtf.. And don't you have a japanese system? I didn't think you could play imports on it..

How is the music on Wipeout? Any well-known artists on the soundtrack?

Presumably this means an exhibitor badge, which allows one to enter the show floor while all others are excluded.

Certain media can get in early also while the exhibitors set up. You can bet I'll be there on Tuesday to walk around and see everybody hard at work
