Best Buy $5 off coupon for PS2/PSP games at Best Buy--NO minimum

Hey all,

I don't know if this has been discussed already, but Best Buy stores now have stacks of these coupons that give you $5 off the price of a PS2 or PSP game... "just like a GGC" you say. Well yes, that's true.... except that there is no minimum on what you're buying

Hence, they'll give you $5 games for FREE.

The coupons last till the end of the year, so you may want to hurry and grab a bundle of them--who knows how useful these could be over the coming months?

Hope this is useful for someone

Edit: The coupon is available at http://img230.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img2...can00011kr.jpg. All you have to do is print it out on an 8.5x11 piece of paper, and you're ready to roll (yes, the coupon will be huge, but it's supposed to be that way)... YES, the coupon is designed to nearly fill a piece of paper--that's the way the coupon is supposed to look, and you should have no trouble with it.

OR, you can print up a whole sheet of smaller ones (some people have reported having trouble with the really small ones, so you may want to try the sheet of six coupons instead), and just cut them out:

10 Coupons--

6 Coupons--

http://img95.echo.cx/my.php?image=sc...sheet6x2rg.png

Special thanks to CoffeeEdge for making these sheets of smaller ones!

Also, a brand new coupon has surfaced--this is one is only good for PS2 games (not PSP games) but looks mildly more legit. It's available here:

Speical thanks to froinlaven for pointing this out.

I was at BB yesterday and I could not find the coupon anywhere within the PSP GamePRO Guide that was there. The employees couldn't either.

The copies of the coupon at my store are literally just black and white, 8 and a half by 11 pages with a giant coupon printed on them; I'll try to scan one in as soon as I get to my scanner, as you could probably just print them up and they'd work fine.

And yes, that means that all $5 games are free (literally), $10 games are $5 etc... This could be great later this year if games tank it down to $5 like they sometimes do....

the coupon seems pretty awesome, but I feel like bestbuy will get rid of it soon enough if it gets abused.

In which case I'd rag on the manager, considering the coupon says it's good from "3/20/05-12/31/05" :P

As the OP said, the coupons are on 8X11 paper because the guide got screwed up. So if one person scanned it in, we could all easily have copies.

My BB doesn't even carry the GGC anymore.
They say it's going to be discontinued, due to the abuse.
What a freaking joke.

As for the b&w coupon,....... haven't seen it.
Perhaps you are talking about the one with the PSP bundles listed on it.
????

By the way, on the coupon it says "One coupon per household..." do they really enforce that crap? Like if I walk up to the counter with 2 or 3 of these $5 things, will they limit me to one?

According to the OP, you can use one copy of the coupon on multiple copies of games...So, no need for more than one coupon at a time.

Try copying and pasting the link. Just clicking on it didn't work for me either.

About jampacks--I did this at the begining of last week (21st), when Volume 11 was still included in EBgames's PSP deal.

About multiple coupons, the cashier was fine letting me pick up four jampacks for free--they each had to be rung up multiple times though (ie, four receipts). I'm sure that some cashiers will give you a hard time, but just come back the next day and get somebody different--these things last for an entire year (well, almost), so there's gonna be plenty of opportunity to use (and abuse) them.
