The Xbox name is just building a foundation, they would be nuts to try and start over with a completely new name. I say Xbox 2 or something similar.

Really they are all fine (Xenon, Xbox 2, NeXtbox) except for the Xbox 360.

Personally, I like either Xenon or Xbox 2. I think those just sound better as well as being classier names.

IMO, Xbox 360 sounds like a car or something. Xbox 2 or Xenon are fine. I liked how Sega named their consoles, so one woudln't sound obsolete to the other. It would feel strange if an EB cashier said,".. for PS3 or the 360?"..

I went with Xbox 360. I don't like it, but it seems like the most likely candidate right now. My favorite names are NextBox (without the stupid emphasized "T") and Xbox Next.

My first thought on Xbox 2 was the same as DD's. Would make it seem inferior to PS3.

I have a personal bias against 360, as '360' seems to be used most often in conversation by idiots saying something like 'I did a complete 360 on that issue.'

So I'll go with something new.

I think it was only code named Xenon, or that Xenon is the name of the actual OS on the Xbox,
any way, as long as the name isnt xbox 360, I dont really care

I think it will be Xbox Next personally. It keeps the Xbox brand name without the impression of inferiority that comes with Xbox 2. Xbox 360 is ridiculous. Unless it has something to do with the actual design.

360 is too associative to Revolution (360 degrees is one revolution) - I think it'll be Xbox Next as they don't want to lose the Xbox branding. To toss another name out there, how about Xbox Xenon?
