More like a two minuet walk across a street. (Thats why the plaza is called streets of woodfield. That and the design is of a city block.) It really is no more than a walk across a street or a 1 min car ride from the mall. Gameworks is a pretty neat place from what I remember. (I haven't been there since I was in the 7th or 8th grade)

Anyway, I'm a local to the schaumburg/hoffman estates area. Although most of the year I live in the city.

Don't know if it's been mentioned-- but I noticed last night that there's another Video Game Exchange store on Milwaukee Ave in Wicker Park.
It's right across from Reckless Records, just like the one on broadway, oddly enough.

I'm gonna go check it out on Thursday. I'll post here if I find anything good.

I have never been to any video game exchange, how are they in game selection and prices?

Anyone buy Bears tickets today? I got four tickets for the December 18th Falcons game that'll be on ESPN. I can't wait to go.

They are still pretty new so they don't have a huge selection, but they carry stuff for every system. their prices are kinda hit or miss, but generally good.

Tried visiting the Wicker Park store but it's closed on sundays. lame. but I scored a $15 mint + complete Mega Man Anniversery for the gamecube at Reckless, which made the trip worth it :-)

Well if you talking about the toys for example. I got last years She-ra toy which I bought it for $20 and sold it for $75 a few weeks later and I got the skeletor toy two years ago in which I bought for $20 and I sold it for $110 . It all depends on the toy and regarding comics that I'm not sure about.

Also I got an extra strategy guide of each, if any one is interested in trading.

Forza Motorsport
Doom 3
call of duty
Brothers In Arms
Star Wars: Republic Commando
Jak 3
NFSU2
transformers
star fox

Wizard World a Comic convention, similair to the San Diego Comic-con.
It has many comic book vendors as well as action figure vendors.
Special guest of honor this year is Frank Miller.
Also some of the major distributors have exclusive figures and comics only avialble at the show.

It takes place this weekend 5-7th, addmission is $25 a day or $50 for all three days. It is at the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont (Rosemont Convention Center).

I will be attenting the show tomorrow.
