I thought it was supposed to be a wireless controller... And I miss the black & white buttons already.

Theres no where to put your xbox live head set, I doubt that ugly controller is the real one.

Ugly as sin, wouldn't surprise me considering last gen's terrible design.

I heard there were 4 trigger buttons, like ps2's. As for the wireless thing:

it is quite similar to the existing s design, the difference being start and back have moved to more traditional locations and then poorly placed black/white buttons have been banished from the front (with rumors suggesting they are doubling up behind the l and r)
I think that test look will obviously leave and you will be left with the same ergonomic design as the s, and better button placement which is fine by me.
I would also imagine x1 controllers will be compatible if the design is not changing drastically.

Yeah what's with the wires and whats with the buttons missing? How can it be backwards campatable when there are buttons missing.

Well, if there is 2 L's and 2 R's, then the black and whites will be programed to them...

As for the idea x1 controllers working, I dont think so because I read that xbox 2 accessories will all be able to connect and be compatible with the PC.

Seriously, i have owned Xbox for 1 year something and i have played it for less than 10 hours.
But it's mostly because i hate the controller.

Whoah? I have owned my ps2 since launch and my XBOX one year ago and I've but more hours on XBOx then on ps2.

Well I have played the GC more than the PS2 and Xbox mainly because that's all I own.

So let's get back on topic of how fake it looks.

I really hope its a prototype and that the console doesnt come packaged with ugly ass grey... I like black controllers.

I like the white/grey look. I remember all my friends hating the PS controller when it first came out and untill late into the PS life cycle. Now they won't use a GC or Xbox controller without bitching.

Moral of the story is people hate change.

We'll find out on Thursday for sure but I would have to say that looks like a fake.
