Has this news been posted elsewhere? Unfortunately, they don't say what the exclusive content is.

myke.
...an exciting transition to the world of higher priced games. Crap.

Interesting stuff.

I also find this paragraph of particular interest:

"To hasten sales of Xbox 360, Microsoft will cease the development of games for the current Xbox this year. J Allard, a Microsoft vice president and a principal Xbox executive, says he expects that other companies will continue to create games for the original Xbox through 2007. Microsoft has not said whether current Xbox games will play on the new console."

I'd be amazed if the Xbox isn't backwards compatible.

I don't see a problem with charging $59 for a special edition version with extra content or bonuses, but they should still keep the $50 price tag for regular edition games.

I'm fully content with my free Zelda CE right now. It'll take something cool I don't have already for me to consider shelling out more money, like a free chicken. I love my Harvest Moon cows, and I enjoy attacking the chickens in Zelda for a while before they get pissed and fight back.

As much as I am a Zelda fanboy, I won't pay $60 for a game just on general principle.

Wink

I hope it's not the Zelda CE disc..... because that would seriously deminish the value of my unopened copy

It is a horrible butchering of Ocarina of Time, not only did they chop up the levels and change a ton of stuff, they made the game wicked easy.
Old 05-16-2005, 04:42 PM   #14
^^Ya... easier... You can go ahead and think that.

If it came in a gold-Halo 2/Doom 3 CE-like case with the Master Sword and such on it...that'd be worth the extra $10 right there.
