Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Houston (HOU), Chicago (IL), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ), and Washington state (WA) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - Austin, Sacramento, San Diego, AZ, GA, IN, NV, OR), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them.

- It is updated daily during the period in which it applies.

- The original post would have been about 2 years ago.

- Subject lines of the original post do not always update.

- Some people want to know what they just missed the day before and this way, a new post covers the new sale without overwriting the items that were previously discussed.

- Sale items change twice weekly...what's the point in keeping 2 years worth of people's responses for sale items which aren't even on sale anymore?

I was just going to say that. Also, VegasRobb and the other Vegas people, from my experience with the Fry's deals and posting, most of the deals that are given also apply to us and 98% of the time the cheaper of the deals (i.e. if Houston has something for 39.99 and SJ has it for $34.99, we tend to get the $34.99 price point.). Just letting all you guys know and keep you up on the deals. Also, great for the confirmation as I don't have my paper that I get today yet, and that confirming them is always helpful no matter what.

I think I might get Metal Slug 4 and 5. Is there only going to be a PS2 version of the game? If there's an Xbox version that I might as well just hold out for that version then.

Also, thanks for your great postings every week. You do us all a great service and I for one greatly greatly appreciate them.

fido, there's no need for you to explain yourself. The way you do things is perfectly fine in my book and I have never seen any error that they might interfere or cause some wrong to this site or Cheapy. Also, I like the way you do things. It's clear and easy to see, read, and find your games and the daily updates are great since sometimes you don't have a lot of time and you just have to be quick to see what's new. Keep up the good work man.

Is the Getaway: BM a price-drop or something? Is it worth picking up for $20?

Agreed. Fido is one of the best. If not for him I probably would not have ever bothered to go to Fry's. Keep it up, I for one appreciate it.

My guess is that it is going to have a universal price drop very soon. Usually, Fry's tends to be ahead of other retailers and will have it for $20 and than few weeks later you'll see the game for $20 everywhere. That's what happened with Def Jam 2 and the other EA games, and then they had it on sale again for $14.99. Might be worth just to wait it out and then get it at BB after GGC for $14.99. Also, from most reviews and other users, The Getaway: BM is far worse than the first.

black monday isnt that bad, it just isn't that great. Make sense? i doubt it. Call it a gameboy advance micro moment if you wish (YOU HEAR ME NINTENDO?...read...makes no sense)

black monday was far far too short. and the story was no where near as refined as the original in anyway shape or form.
