NCAA Football 2006
I don't know which one is better. Graphically the XBOX is the best, but the controller for the PS2 is much better because you have more control, just wondering what everyone else thought? |

Xbox for graphics and the HD, although hopefully they fixed the slowdown problem that the Xbox 2005 version had.

I'd stick with PS2. Graphics are only slightly better for the xbox and I'd rather have better controller then slightly better graphics. The idea is to play a fun game and I feel the better controls always win out over better graphics. It also depends on what you plan to play Madden wise for when you export your NCAA rosters.

I'm sorry but my experience with load times and save times for EA games on PS2 is horrible. I'll be picking this game up for my Xbox not PS2. Then factor in surround sound and other options and I just can't see why anybody would pass up on the Xbox version for the PS2 version.

Well I just got the game today for the ps2 and I'm going to return it tomorrow for an xbox version. The load times are insane and it just can't stack up to xbox live for online play. Also, is it just me or do the graphics for the ps2 version look really weird? I mean, it looks as if they went a step backwards in terms of graphics. I actually got to play test this game (I live in Orlando which is where the developer Tiburon resides) and it looks exactly the same as the unifinished version I was testing graphics wise.

Are there any significant improvements from last year?

This year its faster More animations (you can actually strugle to tackle someone and have to tap X to bring him down and the opposite, tap X to shake off the tackler.) You can scramble without having to bring down your passing icons. I'll try to come up with some more stuff after I play it some more this weekend. |

Got the game this morning for Xbox and it's great. No slowdown at all during gameplay and the Race for the Heisman mode is pretty cool. Way better then last year's game.

i don't understance why people like the Dual Shock. It's like torture for your hands. The S-Controller is the greatest controller ever.
Alas; this is the first NCAA I've played and I'm loving it, although I absolutely abhor Madden. One of the things that annoys me in NCAA, though, is that you can't let your QB drop back in his normal route by not touching the controls, or he'll throw to a receiver on his own. I <3 Testudo. Testudo > you.
