I happen to love the series. I have all of them but part 2. Matter of fact its the only reason i want a psp. I'm I the only person like this?

Twisted Metal is a classic series, I spent a lot of my younger years playing it non-stop. Ironicly, I'm listening to the rolling stones - paint it black Main theme from Twisted Metal Black, by far my favorite Twisted Metal.

I don't. And how can you claim to be a fan and not have 2? 2 is the best.

i just beat small brawl at work right now with crimson fury. I think black and 4 are the best that i have played. But i havent played part 2 yet.

I really have never like sweettooth. I was always a fan of spectre or crimson fury.

I love Twisted Metal. 2 is definately the best, you NEED to pick it up.

Twisted Metal Black was one of my first PS2 games (along with FF10), but I didn't like it. It was waaaay too dark. My life is depressing enough...... I don't need to play a game filled with depressing characters too.


Also, the idea of shooting cars didn't really hold my attention. Been there/done that 25 years ago (Atari's Combat). I prefer to devote my time to fun games like Space Channel 5 or Rez.

Black is the best. It's the 2nd reason I originally got a PS2. (The first being GT3, the third being GTA3).

I bought the PS2 version when it became a GH, and I really didn't like it that much. It was an ok game, but I agree with electrictroy that it was way too dark.

The TM series is definitely one of my favorites, I have every game with the exception of Head On. If I get a PSP it would probably be one of the first games I buy.

I own 3 and Black. I haven't played 3 at all (outside of testing it to make sure the disc worked) and I haven't spent that much time on Black.

I have fond memories of playing 1 in multiplayer with friends, though.

Hands down 2 is the absolute best. Black and 4 are pretty close in my book, but 4's story was awesome (if you were following the series rapidly).

3 and 4 should be stricken from the records.

2 was the best, followed closely by black. Haven't played HO.

I think the gameplay is overrated, but the story is pretty good.
