If you look at the right side of the nintendo ds box or the opening part of the box you are going to find a message that reads ( Experience a totally new way of playing games with the revolutionary touch screen ) what is nintendo calling revolutionary right in front of our noses (the touch screen) and what are they naming their brand new console (revolution) i think it is pretty damn obvious and i bet anything that the revolution will feature a touch sensitive controller !

I don't blame them , it is such a powerful feature in a handheld i can only imagine it on a home console, being able to draw ,sketch and use our own handwriting to express our anger or emotions to allies and opponents !

A) Can you please explain to me how that is subliminal? It isn't.
B) Just because someone uses the word revolution, or any of its forms, doesn't mean anything. I'm not saying that it wont have a touch screen controller, but to say that the DS had a message saying the touch screen was revolutionary doesn't mean much. It was revolutionary, it wasn't a riddle or anything.

Only thing is that it will also support all of the GameCube's peripherals. I think a touch screen will add significantly to the cost of the console and that's something they usually like to keep to a bare minimum.

Nintendo already said it wasnt going to be a second screen.

There will not be a screen (touch or otherwise) on the controller or the console. This has been reiterated by Iwata, Kaplan, Reggie, Miyamoto and Harrison. What if they changed their mind? Fine. I'll wait for them to announce that they changed their mind, since they have already answered this question many times.

Actually,... just a capacitance meter under a layer of plastic could bring "revolutionary" gameplay.
Imagine a games' pace changing with your heart rate, or the mere thought of moving a tendon in your arm and finger does a specific task. Possibly diverting your thoughts to the controller.

If I thought that the "b" button made me jump,... but it was actually "a",... I'd still jump. So,.. if there were no buttons,... just an extremely sensitive interface, it'd be second nature, and very close to wetware tech.

A biometric controller would be nice. Like the new HotD,... when you shake your gun, you knock off zombies. Well, when you feel like humiliating someone,... you think about it,... and then your character act it out for you,... by shooting them the middle finger.
LOL

Just a thought.
