BAD: Zelda - Wind Waker - this just sucked. I sold it three weeks after I bought it! I can't believe how dumbed down this game was - poor storyline (or should I say- what storyline?), dumb characters, ridiculously easy battles & puzzles. It was also incredibly tedious collecting triforce pieces & bribing tingle. The only thing I liked about the game was the video & sound. (Bottom line - I'd rather replay Zelda Ocarina on my N64.)

BAD: Super Smash Bros - this would probably be fun with friends, but at my age (33), nobody plays games anymore, so no human competition. Just me & the computer. And SSB vs. the computer just sucks. (I prefer Soul Calibur, Tekken, and Virtua Fighter.)

BAD: Animal Crossing - What's the point of this game? Buy a house, get a mortgage, and work to pay it off. Well guess what? I already do that in real life!!! And it's not fun. And neither is this game. I sold it the day after I bought it.



While I'm on a roll, I might as well continue. I am *very* disappointed with the Cube. I loved the N64 games: Mario64, Zelda64, Banjo-Kazooie - true masterpieces, but not the Cube versions:



BAD: Mario Sunshine - serious lack of variety - Spray, spray, spray - repeat, repeat, repeat. Also not fun. You want me to wash the world? Look, I *just* did that - I washed my car, my house, my clothes, and my kitchen floor. No it wasn't fun, and neither is this game.

BAD: No banjo-kazooie. Where's my banjo-kazooie? Best platformer ever made, but no sequel for the Cube.

BAD: Starfox Adventures - what the?!?!? This game's a complete mess. Can't decide if it's a platformer or a zelda-clone or a shooter.

Yep, disappointing. The Cube is nowhere as good a console as the N64 & Super Nintendo were. The games don't measure up. They don't feel like Nintendo games, but sloppy-made (and boring) 3rd party games.

WEll, you have no friends that play games, therefore, gamecube is not the system for you.

But XBOX still shines over GC in my eyes... ever play halo 1, Blood gultch, 16 plaer lan party CTF?

How bout 16 player CTF on containment?

The game is amazing.

I swear I've read everyone of your gaming reviews word for word from other reviewers. Your above post appears to be mainly flamebait. You haven't played many games for either system if you don't like any games on the Xbox and to like only a few games on the Gamecube. Every gamer can find something he/she likes on every system, and all 3 of the systems this time around have had some real gems.

I agree, they are all great systeams and GC does have some quality games ... just that the AI isnt that fun.

Dude matter of opinion. I felt the PS2 was a let down in a large variety of areas. like i've said the cube wins with the fun and quality, xbox in lots of good to well above average games, and ps2 3'd because I just don't feel the games like I do for the other 2 systems. And as much as I still waste my money on RPG's, they've been letting me down for years now.

I loved Animal Crossing. I played it for about an hour every day for a few weeks. The point of the game is not to immediately play all you can, but rather to play a bit every day for a long time.

Nintendo makes games for kids, not adults. You liked their games in the past because you were a kid and now not so much anymore. Times change I guess. Did "Link to the Past" have such a better story then "Wind Waker"?

Wind Waker was fun. Sunshine was disapointing because the predecesor was so great. Animal Crossing gets so much love thats like me saying GTA GTurisimo and GOWar sucks and are bad games. So if it's opinion just say I didn't like it. As for the kids thing I don't beleive that. I loved RE4 and 0 and 1 remake, as well as Eternal Darkness, Soul Calibur with Link, Baten Keitos, and Metroid Prime and it's sequel. None of which are kiddy and thats 8 games.

You just named three of my favorite games on the Cube: Animal Crossing, Windwaker, and Smash Bros.

Oh, and there's no Banjo, because Banjo is a Rare franchise, and Rare only develops console games for the Xbox.

I guess now that I'm in adult, games like Super Mario Bros 3 can no longer be fun, and I must now spend my time playing Doom 3 and Halo 2.

Nintendo makes games for everyone, not just for kids.

I'm 29 and I enjoyed every Mario and Zelda game (albeit some more than others). I wouldn't say Sunshine was a bad game --I liked it, but most people discredit it because it wasn't revolutionary the way Mario 64 was.

Playing against AI/the computer has been making games fun for over 30 years now. Games don't have to be online to be fun. I'm so sick of this "EVERYTHING MUST BE ONLINE" mentality.

You obviously didn't put jack shit into the game, and thus, you got nothing back out of it. You have to INVEST in that game a little, but with time, it becomes an incredibly rewarding game.

The inaneity of this statement has been commented on elsewhere, I believe. There's a difference between "kids" and "everyone." Nintendo makes games for the latter.

You know, every review in the world about this game stated that you did that, along with dozens of other things. As did every person that bought the game who frequented forums, I'm sure. You've got to be pretty uninformed to buy a game with content you would obviously not enjoy while the information about the game is so openly available.

Lets Change this title to IN MY OPINION
