Recomendations?

I've been out of the PC scene for about a year but I finally have my new computer so I can pretty much run anything. Need some recomendations...

Looking at Call of Duty, KOTOR, and maybe Rise of Nations and Prince of Persia. Any more "goodies"? Maybe another nice FPS?

Thanks!

I'm sure Half-Life 2, Doom 3, and Far Cry will be great choices.

You should check "The List" thread.

I'd start off by getting Mafia.

Once you start with CoD, you won't want any other FPS til HL2.

If you are into rpg's try NWN, but watch out for the hordes expansion cause it is very buggy.

But the 9600XT doesn't look as good (or something like that)!

And you know what they say about people that have a graphics card with big numbers don't you?

Call of Duty and KOTOR are on their way, $78 from Newegg (shipping included, it's free anyways ).

Should keep me busy for a while, no?

i dont know about a while, cause the 1 player mode is only 6 hours long, but Call of Duty is the best FPS I've played in a while, IMO. it takes everything wrong with the Medal of Honor series, and fixes it. the multiplayer is just OK, but I have BF 1942 for that anyway.

also, as said before Mafia is a good choice, especially since you can get it for 9.99 at any walmart in the jewel case version. I picked mine up last week.

Call of Duty might be 6 hours but how long is KOTOR?

KOTOR could easily get 30-40 hours of playtime if you wish to play it completely with side quests and such. If not, it's considerably shorter.
