Name that NES game to ring me a "bell"

Hey guys,

I'm currently in search of a game that I played over 10 years ago. I believe that it is an NES game in the same vein as any air plane shoot 'em up games. (a la 1942, Gun Nac, Xevious, etc)

The twist to this lil game I'm searching for is that you have to juggle a bell (single or multiple, I forgot) while shooting the incomming enemies.

God, I spent so much time browsing for NES galleries just to find a screenshot of it, but so far no luck. If anyone know what I'm talking about please let me know the name of the game.

Thanks
-XClaude

Thanks for the quick replies guys. Stinger certainly fits the "bell" twist, but it's not exactly what I am looking for. Stinger is in the vein of Life Force or Gradius, a left to right side scroller. The game I am looking for is pretty much exactly like Stinger..... except it's bottom up shooter. The sprites are different as well.

Anyone has any ideas?

Renegade.

(Just guessing)

hehehe

Interesting, the search for one game leads to other fun games. LOL

Renegade is a beat 'em up game like Double Dragon.

:/ Seriously, no one remember an airplane shoot 'em up game with a juggling bell popping out from the cloud?

Hmm... Twinbee? I remeber shooting bells in that game to make them change colors for different powerups.

Stinger is the american adaptation of twinbee, every other level is a vertical scrolling level also like in gradius and life force.

There are both side scrolling and vertical scrolling levels in Stinger, silly. I love that game. I still have it too.
