Those are all pretty solid
But my bet are for Dark cloud(get dark cloud 2 if u can) Arc the lad is awesome if your into FFTish game(love em).... Wild arms I would pass on I actually like beyond the beyond better. Dragon quarter is nifty for a dungeon crawler BUT the battle system is pretty good |

Dark Cloud 2 is supposed to one of the best action RPG's ever. I wouldn't know for sure though, my copy is still sitting there sealed. How do you say.....backlog,

For $6 you should be able to pick up a used copy of Grandia 2 or Skies of Arcadia.... both of which are great RPGs. troy |

Grandia 2 is shit, and Skies of Arcadia gets old fast.
Out of all the games listed, I'd recommend Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter the most. Combat is nice and tactical, the story is interesting, and the mechanics are quite innovative (you're basically doomed to failure on your first playthrough, but each time your game gets FUBAR due to the ever-increasing, ultimately lethal "D-Counter," you are allowed to start over with quite a bit of gear, experience, and skills you earned in your first try. And when you replay, you are allowed to see scenes which you'd normally have missed that further explain what's going on. Be sure to check out GameFAQs if you decide to get Dragon Quarter, though, or alot of its subtlety can be lost on you). |

Dark Cloud 2 is the way to go. Truthfully, I don't really know since I have yet to play it but my brother loves it. So I would say Dark Cloud 2. I've played the rest of the games and I wasn't really impressed by any of them, especially BoF DQ.

Wild Arms 3 is the best overall game of those you listed.

Dark Cloud is garbage. Avoid at all costs.
The others I can't really say since I haven't played them yet, but the saftest bet would probably be Arc the Lad. A few friends of mine said it was pretty good. |

Grandia Xtreme: I've never played it, but most of the reviews say to avoid it. Apparently it has no story..... just thousands of random battles. troy |
