I hear these are uncomfortable unless you get the super soft sleeves for the earbuds. Anyone ordering should look into that.

Im just fine with my $30 ($50 retail) Sony EX71s from amazon

EDIT:
LINK TO BUY SLEEVES (soft flex sleeves) http://www.shurestore.com/earphones/...cessories.html

Why just the PSP? Shure earbuds are good for any occasion.

Translation: Mrs. Cheapy is making me buy them. She's got a stranglehold on my PSP and she doesn't like my $15 Koss clip-ons.

Seriously though, these are supposed to be great for those who use portable devices in noisy places. They block out external sound so they really help out those devices which might be a little lacking on power/volume *cough*PSP*cough*.

I also just bought a pair of Sony earbuds (EX-51). Pity, because I would love to have these instead.

Well, in addition to that you've got great sound quality. My EX-51s block out noise well enough, but they aren't very crisp and the bass is overpowered and muddy.

It's mostly the sound quality. Shure also designs headphones for professional use, so their consumer products are better engineered and have higher quality standards than other manufacturers. I know a lot of people who say that their stock iPod earbuds have excellent sound quality, but they haven't yet tried out a $300 set. Once you've heard an expensive pair, you'll never want to go back.

That's why I rushed out and bought a pair of EX-51s a couple of weeks ago. Sadly, I'm not impressed. I should've waited for a deal like this, but I took a risk and now I can't get my Shures.

These are still too pricy for me.. I'd love a pair but $50-60 on some headphones? Killer.

I'm really tempted to buy these cause this is such a good price. Hmm...shouldn't be spending more money though. Well my other earbuds are starting to fall apart, maybe I will.

Well, I ordered them last night, so if you can wait a week or so, I'll give you my impressions. I think this deal has been around for a while (but I am not certain).

i have these and love them. Worth every penny if you listen to music as much as i do. The carrying case and everything about them go well with my iriver 120. I have the supersofts and i dont really like them. They dont seem to insalate well. If you do buy them send an email to shure saying you are having problems with confort and tell them you have heard of these things called supersofts. They will send them to you for free which is great customer service. I see the haters on good headphones but i listen to mine at least 1-2 hours a day miminum so its a great investment for me.

IPOD + Stockheadphones=JOKE

The ipod has the lowest quality sound of the bigger mp3 players and those stock ones are a joke. Now to the person asking the diff between these and cheap hp is sound quality. I love of the mention of music i spark like a jack rabbit on this topic. Sorry for multiple post. I should have read the whole topic before i posted my first one.
