Not sure if this has been posted or not...

At gamestop.com you can now search for "Revolution". When you do it lists 5 games.

The games are:

1. Mario revolution
2. Legend of Zelda: Revolution
3. Metroid Prime 3
4. Super Smash Brothers: Revolution
5. Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicals Revolution

* All games say they ship on 3/1/06 (could this be a possible release date for the revolution?)

Here is the link:

If the Big N releases these 5 games at launch , along with 3rd party launch titles, this would easily be the best and biggest launch lineup for a system EVER.

Once again, I am sorry if this is a repost.

hmmm... I doubt zelda would be a launch title seeing how TP would be only months old by March but hey watever Nintendo is wacko like that

I hope this is true. If so, I will probably be an early adopter of the next Nintendo system as I have since Sega went belly up.

This is obviously a place-holder date/info. Nintendo has said these franchises will ocme out EVENTUALLY for the Revolution, which is why they are listed. There is no confirmed launch date right now.

I was under the impression that Mario and Smash Bros. would be launch titles.

I now doubt the release date to be anything clsoe to truth. You can now also search for PS3... and all the games have the same release date. Also, all the listed PS3 games are who blockbusters and exclusives to Playstation, the same as the listed Nintendo games, not much truth to this. Why would gamestop post this then?

Thouse are just the titles that were announced at E3. Just like how GameStop put up Animal Crossing DS and Mario Kart DS as launch titles before the DS was released.

Now I wouldn't be at all surprized if Mario and Super Smash Brothers make it as launch titles. After the hit Smash Bros was on the Cube I don't see Nintendo holding off on this game. And Nintendo has said it was a mistake not launching with a true Mario game with the Cube.

I see Metroid coming out later that year, same with Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicals.

Legend of Zelda on the other hand I think is a good year off.
