Sometimes Target and the other retailers markdown a game to GH prices just before the red label hit. I have $19.99 burning a hole in my pocket for Killzone, and thought it would be fun to run a thread noting when the markdowns occur that preceed the actual shipment of the red label games. For those folks who hate the red label (I could care less) it gives them the opp to pick it up for cheap without the red banner of cheapness.

I never knew about this, though as soon as it hits I'm planning on snagging the Sony "mascot" trio and possibly Killzone...

Review are mixed. All's I know is that I beta tested it and love the multiplayer. I can be an FPS whore,and I like the production design, so I am certain I will be content with it.

Checked Best Buy, WalMart and Target today and none of them are $19.99 yet. Guess it'll happen on Tuesday or Wednesday (when the shipment probably arrives)...

If anyone is really uptight about the Red Label, if you cant find it at Best Buy or whereever the game is advertised, you can easily price match at WalMart. The are almost ALWAYS behind on marking down the games and getting the red label version. You can usually take the BB ad to walmart on the first week and be guarenteed a cop with no GH label. Thats what i did for the last round and will be doing this round as well.

Another CAG thread shows Target advertising Killzone along with the rest next week, so I picked up Splinter Cell Pandoras Tomorrow for $9 and change at CompUSA to tide me over -- fun MP.

Gamestop already has them marked down online -- unfortunately the nearest GameStop I have been too has seriously crappy service. Someone in this thread also reported markedowns at their Target yesterday, but that was not the case in Ricmond yet...
