I just got an e-mail from Nintendo asking for participation an their Wi-Fi survey. Basically, using the link below, you download a Nintendo app that checks out your current network settings and reports back to the Nintendo servers. I figure the more the merrier.

The app also acts as an Animal Crossing desktop clock. Enjoy.

You know, if this was Microsoft doing this for Xbox everyone would be screaming about spyware and such but since it's Nintendo people will be more willing.

And there is the problem.

Nintendo's not known for doing a lot of shitty stuff and they don't own a spyware company.

Oh man, the clock is so sweet looking. And it plays an Animal Crossing tune at every hour! I love this! Now I just need to find a good place to put it...right now it's just hovering about the regular computer clock.

Takes awhile after the bar filled up. The whole test took about 40 minutes for me.

Nevermind, got it... also... if it just sits there doing nothing... turn off your firewall
