The last CD I bought? A limited "Wai Notes" by Dawn McCarthy and Bonny Billy. Oh, the joy of working in a record store

Hey, this is actually my first post here EVER! So, hi! Looking forward to checking everything out

I picked up Band of Horses' Cease to Begin today. I was glad to see it on sale again for $8 at Best Buy. I was afraid I'd missed out the first time around.

Wow, I've never even heard of that album from Oldham! Nice find!

Welcome to CAG! I wonder if we have any other Danes on this board...

Hmmm, I bought "Minutes to Midnight" in the summer of last year. I don't usually buy CDs.

Kaiser Chiefs, I recommend them to anyone that liked Ruby on GH3.

Last album for me:

Two of my faves from last year.

I never had much luck finding good music at Borders, but it looks like you did alright...I may have to give them another shot.

Yeah, I was surprised, too! I never would've thought to look in Borders for music. Their shelf space is limited but their selection is pretty good as long as you're looking for albums that came out within the past year.

If you join their free rewards program you can get some nice deals. I just joined a few months ago and already I've received two coupons that discounted all single-disc CDs to $9.99 and this latest coupon that takes 40% off all single-disc CDs. I've done the math and either of those deals would make most albums cheaper than at Amazon or DeepDiscount. I got Boxer for $6!
