This search bar is a powerful tool for navigating CAG. You can use it to find the lowest prices on games, search members, forum and blog topics, and much more.
After typing in what you are looking for, you can filter your results by clicking on one of the tabs that pops up from the top of the search bar.
Looking for a game on a specific platform? Type in the platform name with the title!
Example: guitar hero 360
You don't need to click a pop-up tab to filter results. Just type what you are looking for right into the search bar.

Soft reset?

why do you need one? Can you not access the menu of whatever game your playing anymore? What help would a soft reset provide? The only reason I could see for using a soft reset is if the game locks up, and then, I imagine that Microsoft believew that their products don't lock up, and therefore there is no need for a soft reset.
Half the time on my ps2 the soft reset doesn't even work right, I have to hold it for 5 sec and let it shutoff and then I can reboot.... |

well then, I'd be more pissed at not having the option of quitting at any point... how hard is that to program into software?

Ya know, I've been wondering the same thing but never thought to ask.
I can't tell you how many times it's happened:

It's a standard feature on almost every console and it only makes sense to have one on there. |

Eh, who cares...more games than not have a controller combination to reset the game...I don't recall the last time I needed to use a reset button.

![]() ok, this really wasn't my dog, but I happened across it whild doing a GIS and the story is friggin hilarious (in a wierd demented way (hey, at least the outcome was good)). Read about it here And, I'm not dead set against, I just consider it a non-issue, as the one on my PS2 is never used, so I was just playing the "no soft reset button" advocate. Actually as far as the xbox is concerned, I wish there was a way to go to the main system menu from a game or with a game in there instead of having to leave the tray open.... (there isn't a way to do that is there?) |

thats probably the point where MS said "Ya know, i think this things too big. another button and we may need to sell home owners insurance with each box"
Ive gotten used to it. i mean, my computer doesnt have a soft reset button. you turn it off when it f's up, and then turn it back on again. |

Anyway this is all a moot point, I still enjoy my xbox, but wish they put just that much more thought into it.[/i] |

It's just a damn reset button. I mean take a note at how fast the Xbox loads. Maybe that's why there isn't any reset buttons
