Ok CAGs I have wayyyy to many RPGs and to be honest I miss the big epics with the compelling characters and stories etc... So tell me out of the following list which do you think I should play to get the most out of what I want from my RPG?

Lunar 2, it's the best of the bunch.

Persona II is a game I've been wanting to play. The first one came out years ago, before all the "cool high school kids fight alien teachers/evil scientists/monsters" movies came out. The first one was pretty cool-high school kids get caught up in Armageddon, and receive the curse of changing into demons. Typical bunch of mall-rats, the game starts off with a typical day spent after school wandering around the mall. The graphics weren't pretty, but the story and characters was great... but heck, in RPG's the STORY isn't the main thing, it's THE ONLY THING!!! By the way, I just finished Disgaea:Legacy of Darkness, Phantom Brave, and Digital Devil Saga. I'd recommend those also if you'd let me.

I'll never understand why people liked Star Ocean 3 so much, awful fighting system. I felt like the character never did what I told them to. But al the games have strengths and weaknesses in their own right.

I played them all but never beat Star Ocean 3 and Legend of Dragoon, so If I personally had to pick I'd say Persona II, I had the most fun with it.

Legend of Dragoon is one of the best RPGs, ever IMO. I would definitely pick that out of the list you have there.

Lunar 2 Eternal Blue

2nd Choice: Star Ocean Til the End of Time

I personally liked Suikoden IV: I put in about 50 hours on it, got almost everything. It's fun.

I need to get around to playing most of my games too

Star Ocean 2 gets my vote

I have to go with Star Ocean 2 as well. I got it a few months ago and it's one of the only PSone games I've snagged up this year that really grabbed me and kept me from playing current generation stuff. That's pretty impressive considering I only buy PSone stuff to collect, not play.

Final Fantasy X........you don't have it but you have to get it......... the best RPG ever

Final Fantasy X? It was okay, but I got bored before I finished it.

Not on the list but I'd say Shadow Hearts Covenant. It's kind of easy, and the first few hours aren't too exciting, but I've never cared about game characters as much as I did about the ones in this game. The story is just terrific, if you like an emotional character driven story. Very funny and also very sad at times.

You dont mention Shadow Hearts cov without saying shadow hearts first.....but anyhow, i say legend of dragoon. I own most of those, never played them, and i didnt like the little bit i played of legend of dragoon i played years ago....

BUT, its like the only game you have that isnt a sequel, i hate playing(or recommending) you play a sequel without beating the first, first.
