Toys R Us Canadian TRU/EB games deal/exploit. (YMMV)

Ok, here's the deal.

Canadian TRUs are having a sale for the week. A LOT of DS games and PSP games are 15 bucks. Now, I don't have a full list, but I know it includes some of the following. (Any help completing this list would be rad.)

Yoshi's Touch and Go (NDS)
Meteos (NDS)
WipEout Pure (PSP)
Medievil: Ressurection (PSP)
Death Jr. (PSP)

Now, the website reflects some of these prices, such as Meteos, but some like Death Jr. aren't listed on the website (but are available in the B&M stores). As far as I know, this is deal is available to Canadians only, but I could be wrong.

Now, here's the fun part. Death Jr has a 35+ dollar trade in value at EB. Meteos is 20-something. Medievil is 30, if I remember right. Find an EB or two, trade all this stuff in, and you'll make a lot of store credit. I have a friend who did this and made 600 and some store credit after spending 250 dollars at TRU.

YMMV obviously, by going from store to store, and the website itself seems to be OOS on some items at the moment.

Lastly, I didn't see this posted before, but if it has been. I apologize.

I was unaware this was frowned upon. I apologize.

Someone may close this then.

There's nothing wrong with it, some people just don't like others hoarding all the games. But you live in Canada, so you're really only screwing 5 other people over.

Besides, isn't flipping considered obtaining a game from a store and then returning it to the same store for a profit?

Alright. Thank you for the clarification, Ugamer.

If CAGs wanted that, I could do it. However, after shipping, there would be practically no point as customs has a bad habit of taking forever and a day if you use standard shipping, and the registered and faster stuff would probably destroy any savings you'd get from the deal.

I'd also have to find some copies of the damn thing in stores. It's OOS at the TRU near me and on the website at the moment. If I do though, I'll let you guys know.

Well it took a week for me to send a package to BC from CA, which is faster than some eastern state.

Got about $130 credit for:

Wipeout Pure
NBA Street
Spider-Man 2
Lumines
Rengoku

Paid $14.97 for all of them.

My local EB (Sarnia, ON) is giving an extra 31% when you trade in 5 games towards an upcoming system release or game, so I came up about $7 short of getting both GTA: Liberty City Stories and Top Spin 2 paid for in credit. I don't know if that is a province or nation-wide promo though.

It's nation-wide.
