What if you go in a store on, let's say, the 26th and the price is marked $49.99. Are they required to sell it to you for the new price? I just wonder how many stores will mark them the new prices or you'll have to wait for new stock.
Old 09-18-2003, 07:14 PM   #5
I would assume that no matter what. You should be able to get them at that price. This is an official price change from Nintendo. As for waiting for the actual product with that "player's choice" logo on it. I have no idea. I would just argue your point to get your game at the right price.

Heh, yeah. Been a bit scattered lately.

These prices are effective now at amazon.com (through Toys R Us).

I'm vaguely annoyed that since the site revamp a few days ago, the PC lineup has shortened! (?)

There are only 7 Player's Choice titles now, with only 1 being a non-Nintendo produced title. Yeah, sure.....

That is kind of annoying.

Isn't WaveRace Blue Storm also a players choice title?
Old 11-29-2003, 01:50 PM   #11
No, Wave Race is not a Player's Choice game, but you can get it for $29.99 at some places.
Old 11-29-2003, 02:49 PM   #12
I saw it at EB, and it had a Players Choice sticker on it. I'm not sure what the price was.
Old 11-30-2003, 07:52 PM   #13
Wave Race: Blue Storm is $10 at CC. I don't know about it being a PC, though.

crazy taxi is also a players choice, theres a pic of it on www.videogames999.com
Old 01-20-2004, 11:41 PM   #16
Yea, I saw the PC Crazy Taxi at Fry's today.
Old 01-25-2004, 04:36 AM   #17
Crash Bandacoot and Spyro for GC have also become PC titles, as well as MK Deadly Alliance. I've heard that Burnout was a PC, but I didn't think it sold that many copies to become one.

There isn't a set a number a game must sell to beome PC. They just slap in on whatever's convenient. And really, what kind of player would choose crazy taxi, burnout, crash bandicoot, or spyro?
