And Im not impressed at all.

There are 2 levels. A regular shooting one, and a motorcycle chase. Neither are much fun. The shooter is 3rd person (Blah) and I had difficulty targeting a few times. Level design was nice though. I only played it once though. The motorcycle one is not much better. Weave inbetween cars, losing 1/3 of your health if you hit one, struggling to catch Jaws. I played it about a dozen times and still havnt beaten it.

NFL Street and Everquest is nice though.

I had the exact same problems on the OXM version. I would have snapped the disc already if it weren't for The Suffering demo.

The only way I could beat the motorcycle level was by ignoring all the other enemies and being lucky enough to sail up to Jaws without hitting anything (probably helped by playing lots of Midnight Club II lately). Then you have to use the flamethrowers right up close...the missles are more than worthless, they also make it impossible to see. Overall, it seems like it will be a mess of a game, especially considering the horrific targeting that's already been mentioned. It's sad that there's still been no worthy follow-up to GoldenEye.

Yes thats true. It's third person ( which I'm not all for ), I think the levels are hard, no multiplayer, theres more reasons to just stay with nightfire instead of everything or nothing.

...I actually enjoyed the motorcycle bit a lot. Multiple paths, weaving in-between on-coming cars. It took me a few tries to finaly take down his truck, but i now find it fun. Sliding under the truck while using the flamthrower so the scripted guy on bike flies over me and catches on fire is great, also along with using the pieces of concrete suspended in the air to go from going with traffic to against.

Yes you will hit a car or 2...which sucks...but after awhile i personally got VERY used to weaving and i can get from the jungle type area all the way to the cgi ending without hitting anything except for Jaws truck.

And the suffering is just sick.

I'll have to give it a rent to see how far it goes

the only real reason to play the last two bond games were the multiplayer and now theyve even done away with that. id say that rare needs to take this liscense back but then wed never see another bond game. in our generation anyway. im hoping my grandkids will get to play perfect dark zero when it finally comes out.

WTF? I haven't gotten my new issue yet. Seems I always find it on the shelf before I get it in the mail. Did you just get this today?

Yeah, I played it on the OXM disc, and I wasn't impressed either. Ah well.

Got OPM today in the mail finally. Everything or Nothing? I'll take nothing, thank you. I like 3d person shooters like Max Payne, Syphon filter, etc. But I think the developers played these games too and said,

-"let's make a 3d person Bond game with sucky controls!".

-"Yeah, great idea!"

NFL street was pretty cool, though. I might actually pick that one up sometime after a price drop or two.

Even though I'd be in the market for the Xbox version, I'm sure glad it sounds like I can skip this one. My $9.99 for Nightfire sounds like money well spent right now.

I played about one minute then quit, I must've missed someting, cuz if the aiming is that horrible, that game is gonna suck so bad. If I was missing something, like a first person view button, could you tell me what it is?

I couldn't 'aim' at all. I think the L1 button was for targeting, but it didn't work for me. My Bond couldn't hit the side of a barn and died about 25 times before I got tired of this crap. I thought the merging of cinematics and gameplay graphics was good though, kinda like Beyond Good & Evil.

Yeah. I went back and played the motorcycle chase part again, and it was more bearable. I actually got to Jaws on my first try, but still didnt fare to well.
