At Hastings in Auburn, Al you can get POP: TTT (GCN) for $9.99. They had two copies as of wednesday. It is located on Glenn Avenue for those who don't know. It's a pretty good deal.

Also, the Family Guy gift sets (V1&2) are $7.99 after mail in rebates. That's a damn good deal.

Are there any differences between the three consoles of this game, like there are in other Ubisoft releases (e.g., Splinter Cell)?

Shame I don't like near a Hastings.

All i know is i loved the first POP that i had on the xbox and hated the second one on GCN. it might have been the controls, but some things seemed off. The sound was terrible, for one thing. I don't know, someone could probably answer your question better than I.

Going to swing by there anytime soon?

Make sure it doesn't say PVT on it. PVT is a "previously viewed tape" I guess, it means it's a clearance rental. There's one huge difference in a PVT and a normal copy.. a PVT has an annoying sticker around the ring of the disk. It's nothing a good fingernail and some alcohol can't fix, but just be aware of that if it says PVT.. though I don't know why they would already PVT copies of it. But that could be the case, as I found two PVT copies of NCAA 06 Football for PS2 for $9.99 there the other day.

Yeah, it's a clearance rental. I've actually had pretty good times with those. I got Life Aquatic dirt cheap and the sticker on the middle ring came right off.

Look around for other clearance rentals.. if they have it on XBox, pleeeeeeeeease grab me a copy. That's gotta be an error, they price clearance rentals $39.99 here on $49.99 games.. the newest clearance rental they have here is Gun on XBox, but Hastings has decided to raise its prices on a lot of used and clearanced games, so it's $42.99 instead of $39.99. That really pisses me off, they raised all $9.99 used games to $16.99.

Apples and oranges. The first game was great, regardless of console, the second was not, regardless of console.

Actually the second POP had a sound bug on all three systems. Also the controls are pretty much the same for all three systems. So don't judge the GC version because of the sound bug; it annoyed us all.

the 2nd POP was terrible IMO. I loved the first one, dunno how they screwed the game up that bad

I've played the first two on all three consoles. The first one was clearly better (graphically) on XBOX, and clearly better on GC than PS2. The second had about the same graphics on XBOX & GC, a bit worse on PS2 (The sound bug was on many copies of all three). From what I've heard the third one is about the same on all three (only played on XB so far).
Anyway, no matter what condition the game is in (as long as it plays fine) or what system it's on it's a fantastic deal for $9.99.

If there is still a GC copy left for $9.99 can someone get it for me? I'd pay cost+shipping via money order.

I'd be very appreciative if anyone would do this for me.

I'll take one too, even though I know there aren't that many left.

Moral of the story: If you come across a deal like this, BUY THEM ALL!!!
