Anyone in Michigan planning on camping out for the Best Buy "Relaunch" on sunday? I've had no luck finding a 360 in stores, so it's looking more and more likely for me the closer we get to the 18th but I'm really really not eager to sit in this cold for 8 hours. Did anyone here camp out during the first launch? If so what was the procedure like in the morning? Did they hand out cards/numbers or just open the doors and let you go at it? What were the lines like and how civil were people, etc? I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth it.

Was considering it (Rochester Best Buy is like 2 miles away) but it's cold as out, and...honestly, the only reason I would do it is to resell. Probably not worth it for me and I'd hate to take little Billy's XMas present away. Or big Billy's ebay profit machine.

Sigh.

I would have been waiting to get one but I just spend the money I had for a 360 on a new CPU for my house so I guess I will have to wait a while longer before I am able to get one.

The one in Ann Arbor already had a bunch of people lined up around 2:30 so I think I may try either the Novi or Farmington Hills one since they are both by my girlfriend's house. If they're mobbed too, then forget it... I'll try my luck elsewhere.

Just went to pick up dinner...there are already at least 30 people outside the Rochester one. I realize some may be friends-of-buyers but come tomorrow morning some of those people are going to be pretty disappointed...they ain't getting that many in stock. Oh well. I was too cruel to tell them.

Someone had a giant tent right next to the doors. Yikes.

The Flint one has had people lined up for quite a while. O well, I guess I just start looking in other places for random ones...

Best Buy in Kalamazoo had around 15-20 people in line as of 4 pm, camouflage tents set up, serious stuff.

the one in dearborn has about 30 campers outside now, im about to join them

there were people outside with tents at the one near me as well. pretty crazy since it is supposed to rain and possibly snow tonight, so it is not going to be a fun night camping

I was out at Circuit City myself from 9:45pm till 6:21am!!!!! Man I'll never do that again!But it was great freezzing your ass off, talking to other die hard gamerz about games,sports,systems and everything else so we can stay up all night. Just for a d**n System...? But,when Ihooked it up last it was all worth it,plus I was the last person in line to get the last XBOX 360voucher.....so when Circuit City opened @ 10:00am.Mom's & Grandmama's were standing in line for the store to open and to there knowledge,they though they had an XBox 360 in hand...But when the manager ask for vouchers they were S.O.L and pissed off. I talking to a guy that waswaiting in front of me all night...."Early Bird catches the worm(in this case XBOX 360)" and otherstuff as "Ya snooze Ya lose" really loud so they could he me...And they did other customers & employees were laughing at them...Sorry little "Billy" your grandy couldn't come through for you.

I was at the best buy by me at 9 and it already had 9 people lined up

the best buy in westland had 25 at around 9:30

Coralville Iowa had atleast 70 people outside at 3 am when i went by. Tents , lawn chairs, sleeping bags and i think i saw a grill....
