You can return the extras to a Wal-Mart store, but you have to pay the lofty shipping charges this bundle requires.

I was just messing with it and chose three games with the premium system along with the accesories they make you buy and it came to $1028 before shipping. HELL NO!

I can't believe Walmart of all places would force a bundle on its customers.

At least that's somewhat relevant; I will predict that future system launches will, with few and far between exceptions (most of them B&M), be all bundles. I can even forsee stores including totally irrelevant things, like a ratchet set, ladie's lingerie, or perhaps even two beer cozys.

Well, not totally irrelevant.

Well it would be a Wal-Mart lady so "pretty" is probably not the first adjective that would come to mind.

This isn't really related to the topic but I fear that even the early pre-orders for PS3 will force us to buy bundles. God I hate forced bundles, something needs to be done about this. Imagine you want to buy a DVD on the day it's released but they force you buy other movies from the same studio. Sound idiotic but that what videogame bundles are like to me.

i am not to sure if anything can be done. Unfortunately, retail establishments have the right to offer only bundles if they want. I guess the only two things that can be done are
1. people boycott bundles - not gonna happen
B. a cheapassgamer opens his/her own videogame store and offers us a 'no bundle promise' guaranteed
