Okay, so I know this isn't a "deal", BUT, it's something that could affect the "cheapness" of games in Texas if this candidate is elected to office.

Yep, same one (but the article has been updated to reflect the 100% not 50%). I had not seen that thread before posting mine.

it's all good...i wasn't being a smartass with my previous post...i really didn't know if it was the same thing or not because one said 50 and the other said 100...plus, i didn't read either articles

It won't happen, but as we get older and move to buy a home(or you already have one) this might save money in the long run. Not having to pay property tax would be awesome. So for the few M games I buy a year cost more, but I can save quite a bit in taxes. I don't think it will pass, but I do think its a good idea if they placed that extra tax on harmful items such as booze and cigs.
