Roppongi Hills is a self contained town within a building which consists of apartments hundreds of restaurants and shops, commercial office space, museums, movie theaters, an arena, and much more.

Mrs. Cheapy and I recently took a trip to visit the Tokyo City View on the 52nd floor.

Great views. Probably one of the best places to see a large part of the city. Or a small portion of it...

Did you like Roppongi?

I stayed there when I went to TGS 05 last fall and I thought it was DISGUSTING.

There were so many rude gaijin and just lots of sleazy people in general.
I hope I never have to go back!

WOW just beautiful man that is a great view, they really have great architecture and landscape, cant wait to go there once in my lifetime.

Roppongi Hills was very beautiful. I especially enjoyed the huge ammount of trees strung with blue LED lights. Very upscale place in Tokyo.

I've heard roppongi can be sketchy but is THE place to party. There's a story amongst my circle of friends about an evening at the Roppongi Gas Panic that was so wild all in attendance swore not to talk about certain "events." Even the associated video was destroyed before they left Japan! I never regretted missing out on a trip more than I do that one...

Must be pretty expensive to live there. Also, why is that place sketchy?

Did all of those Godzilla movies lie to us? I thought that thing has been ripped apart by giant monsters at least half a dozen times.

nice hopefully this year I will have time to check out roppongi hills. We didn't go I guess because my girlfriend said "We live in socal and roppongi hills is just like a big mall anyway"
