When I got a PS2 on long-term loan from a friend who was going overseas, this is the first game I bought because I and, especially, my wife are huge X-Files fans, and this is the most recent thing the cast had done (the voicework was recorded after the series ended).

So trust me when I say it's a terrible game. You should be able to get it used for under $20, but you don't want to.

Aww, I read OK reviews and figured that being an Xfiles fan would make it good. I did enjoy the FMV PC game that had 7 discs on it when i was younger.

Walmart.com has a "2 for $30" sale going on right now on PS2 games, and X-Files: Resist or Serve is on their mix-and-match list. That's slightly cheaper than the $20 it seems to be going for elsewhere, provided you can find anything else worthwhile on the list.

EDIT:
This post has been re-released in deluxe format so I can actually include a link to the site:

I disagree with that previous poster. I think this is a damn good game. Granted it's not the best survival horror title on the market but it certainly holds its own - especially for an XFiles fan.

And you can probably find it for $10 new at EBGames. I bought one back in Jan '05 for around that price. Good luck!
