Ok this is my 4th transaction on ebay.

i was selling a PSP bundle and the winner claims that they did not bid on the item(possibly there info has been compromised) anyways i sent a second chance offer to the next highest bidder. Is that the best thing to do?

Look at their bid history and see if they won a different PSP at a better price. But either way that story is more than likely total BS.

If you don't know how to do that, post or PM me their ID and I'll take a look. Actually, if it's mattknatty you are talking about, I did a search and he has bid on a ton of PSPs lately...

This link should work if you are logged in to your eBay account:

He's won 5 PSPs in the past few days. Do the NPB process and hopefully get this asshat kicked off eBay.

Yep NPB = Non Paying Bidder

You have to wait 7 days from the end of the auction to initiate it, then it's at least 7 days before it's closed out.

It's up to you, but I almost always go through it when someone stiffs me.

My guess is he paid for one of those PSPs (whichever is the lowest total price in US $) and stiffed the other 4 buyers. Really shitty.

To get your FVF (final value fee - the % eBay took when it sold) back you either need to do the NPB thing or say you two have mutually agreed not to complete the sale and the buyer then must agree that this is the case (or just not respond within so many days.)
