I saw a person buying one in the Burlington Costco today fwiw.

I know the Gamestop I work at (Burlington, across from Best Buy) has been getting them pretty reguarly and we've been done with our preorders for a while.

Wow, that was quick, I went Saturday morning and they had well over a dozen. I was tempted to pick one up but I wasn't sure if Costco offers any sort of long term warranty policy.

*Gentle Cough* "Costco has a two year return policy on anything non-perishable within the store. Even the non-perishable is subject to bitching skills. As well, you can try to return something past two years, but that is solely up to the discresion of the person who's assisting you, or the manager that they call for help with. In accordance to the WRITTEN rules however, within those two years you can throw it off a damn bridge, bring it back, and say that 'oops, it fell' and you'd get your money back."

Yes... well then I suppose I'm $550 richer now than I could be.

Still this is good to know for the future, thanks! (So far the primary use of my Costco card has been to get cheap medicine and those wonderful muffins.)

The primary abuses of the policy are atrocious. Lets see, there's the buying a barbecue during the summer and returning it used after you don't need it anymore in the wintertime. We also got so many tv's returned after the superbowl it wasn't funny. As well, you could use it short term by buying a dvd and returning it when you get sick and tired of it. It's sad, but they can't refuse it to be returned as long as it's within the 2 years.

As well, you don't need to be a member to buy medicine, as long as you go to the person at the door and say that you're going to the pharmacy, they can't refuse you.

Interesting to know, although I'm buying Ranitidine which is over the counter.
