GSP is just way, way too good right now. Noone is going to beat him for a while. He's on top of his game mentally and physically. I've had the chance to roll with him before and his movement is just unbelievable, even compared to other world-class guys I've rolled with. He's just so fast and powerfull, his physical abilities are off the charts.

Also definitely every MMA fan owes it to themselves to watch Pride. Their talent level is through the roof, the production is top quality, you get to watch a nice freakshow matchup about once a card, etc. The ring is so much nicer than the cage since it's not all about stuffing a guy up against it so they can't do anything, the yellow-card system works well, and their scoring system makes a lot more sense.

It's easy to forget how heavyweghts can actually be good if you're forced to watch a Sylvia 25 minute snoozefest every other PPV. Fedor, Minotauro, Barnett, CroCop, Kharitonov, Hunt, etc. would all obliterate the UFC's heavyweight division.

I totally agree with you on that. Tim sylvia would have a problem with most pride heavies. He calls out fedor cause he knows it will never happen.

That's what irritates me the most about Sylvia, hearing him constantly call out guys who would annihilate him since he knows those fights would never happen (Fedor, LeBanner - is he kidding me?). He would not last a round with either of those guys.

Also how he talks every fight how he's going to knock his opponent the out and then he goes out there and shadowboxes for a while. Basically he wins by being big and tall and boring. It's even worse that he's got 5 round fights while defending the belt. I mean his last 50 minutes of fighting have had basically no action.

Tim is bragging about his ground game now since monson didn't submit him. I think he is a good fighter but not near the level of a pride heavyweight. UNLESS you count the Henry Miller's or Giant Silva and Zulu jr. lol

I do feel the UFC 155's have a pretty good class and I think they would give pride some trouble.

I think UFC is over rated but its the only one local, while I much prefer Pride FC any day over UFC.

I think if Silvia fought Fedor, Fedor would actually murder him dead. Beat him into the living death, he would.

I agree with pretty much everything you said. Any of the top 6 or so Pride HW's would murder Sylvia. He looked like complete ass against Monson. He says he's going to knock someone out before every fight. What he forgets to mention is how he is going to knock someone out, by shadowboxing him to death. That fight was shit and a complete disgrace to MMA.

Thank God GSP vs. Hughes lived up to the hype. I was rooting hardcore for GSP. He is an extremely talented, exciting, gracious fighter who deserves to have the belt and everything else that comes with being the champ. I hope the UFC markets the piss outta him, he really deserves it.

Cro Cop to UFC!

This is, by far, the biggest signing in the history of MMA.

Tim Silvia's death is mere months away. Cro Crop will kill people in UFC.

That news calls for a Cro Cop quote!

"Right kick, hospital. Left kick, cemetary."

Hah hah, best ever.

God, Cro Crop is my favorite fighter, and I've been wanting him to come to the UFC to murder every heavyweight fighter in the division.

GOD, I CAN'T WAIT FOR THEIR DEATHS!!!!!

I honestly think a left-high kick from Mirko can kill a man.

Well, Cro Cop has officially gone to the UFC now. Silvia has to be pissing his pants. And in case some of you don't know who Cro Cop is, here's a funny video of him.

eddie sanchez will most likely get his head kicked off against cro cop

I can't wait to see Cro Cop and Quinton Jackson dominate the UFC.

I think UFC really missed out on a great opportunity. They should have had Rampage guest commentate for the Chuck/Tito fight. The guy is funny as hell and has already beat Chuck within an inch of his life and will do so again. I mean, Chuck's corner threw in the towel. How sad is that?

And yeah, I feel sorry for Sanchez. He will be dead soon.

Also, I hear GSP has been injured and is out for the Feb. PPV. I wonder what match they can replace it with.

it. GSP should still fight. It ing Matt Serra he is fighting. A Wrestler that isn't very good at takedowns. A 50% GSP is better then Serra.

Also everyone is saying that Rampage isn't the same fighter as he used to be. I just watched that fight between Rampage and Wandi Silva. O Man did Wandi Rampage up real bad. How many knee's to the face? 10?15?20?

I watched that fight again last night too. I think it was 37 knees.

I really hope Rampage is fighting like he used too. After getting beat by Shogun he hasn't been the same.

This weekend had UFC 69 Shootout and Pride 34 Kamikaze.

Here are the results:

UFC 69
Matt Serra def. Georges St. Pierre via KO due to strikes
Josh Koschek def. Diego Sanchez via decision
Yushin Okami def. Mike Swick via decision
Kendall Grove def. Alan Belchar via rear-naked choke
Roger Huerta def. Leonard Garcia via decision
Heath Herring def. Brad Imes via decision
Thales Leites def. Pete Sell via decision
Luke Cummo def. Josh Haynes via KO due to strikes

Pride 34
Jeff Monson def. Kazuyuki Fujita via to rear-naked choke
Sokoudjou Cameroon def. Ricardo Arona via KO due to strikes
Shinya Aoki def. Brian Lo-A-Njoe via armbar submission
James Thompson def. Don Frye via TKO via strikes
Gilbert Yvel def. Akira Shoji via TKO via strikes
Makoto Takimoto def. Zelg Galesic via armbar submission
Eric “Butterbean” Esch def. Zuluzinho via keylock submission
Yoshihiro Nakao def. Edson Drago via modified neck crank submission

Obviously, the big upsets are Serra over GSP and Soukou over Arona.

I don't think anyone would have guessed Serra would KO GSP. Submit him maybe, but I really underestimated his striking skills.

And Soukou has already KOed Nog and has now killed another BTT fighter. Pretty impressive. He's the real deal.

P.S. UFC 69 sucked ass. The Serra/GSP match was the only good fight on the card. Pretty bad, but that's what happens when you fill more than half your card with crappy fighters from the Ultimate Fighter show.

So does anyone know where I can view or download Ultimate Fight Night 10 from Tuesday night? My VCR did not record it for some reason. I need a DVR.
