fwacce - I use the same user id I have on tgn, gtz and ebay. I posted this because I thought it was a great deal, you don't have to accuse me of anything just because I don't post here much

the seller has used generic pictures before, including a past suikoden II auction, but it still seems a bit suspicious

Well the seller seems to be legit. If so this is great deal. The seller has sold in the past items that were electronic related.

Don't mind fwacce...he is just a troll that we allow to exist here for the humor of it. He hasn't ever contributed anything.

i hate that $hit! my first non-paying ebay experience just happened 2 weeks ago and it's a big pita! also, one of my buyers re-bid and won one of my newer auctions just to ask me a question! what a moron! i asked him why he didn't just click on my username? now i'm really cautious with all my buyers... they all have to have perfect feedback and most of their feedback has to come from experienced ebayers (peopel with a few hundred feedback).

If you only accepted bids from people with perfect feedback you might have to end up cancelling a lot of bids. Most people who use EBay for more than a few transactions will end up having a negative or two even if it's not their fault. The problem is that there are some people on Ebay who can't be pleased no matter what and will leave bad feedback even if the seller did everything right. For example, I just got a neutral from a buyer last week and they left the comment "good item" which to me is not deserving of neutral feedback but because of something like that my feedback isn't perfect even though I have 488 positives, 1 negative and 3 neutrals.

As for the non paying bidders, if you want it to stop, if you have a lot of buy it now auctions, turn on immedieate payment required so they can't buy the item until the pay. I started using it in a lot of my auctions and it cut back the number of non paying bidders.

Yeah, it seems as though ebay fraud is on the rise. I read an article almost a year ago about how the numbers of fraudulent claims are going through the roof, almost at an exponential rate. The problem is that many of these sellers can get away with this practice. The seller works for a year or so getting a great deal of positive feedback so that the potential buyers and ebay has no suspicions when the seller lists like 25 PS2s for sale at once. Then they take the Paypal money or what not and run. It really is a shame, and it's starting to hurt my trust in Ebay as a whole. I trust trading with CAGers more than I do purchasing from ebayers...

I haven't had any problems with getting anything I bought either and I have bought 25 things off of Ebay total. My general rules for bidding is that I only will bid if the seller accepts Paypal and they must have at least 50 positive feedbacks and no more than a few negatives.
