Yo Cheapy,
Since you reminded me about Daibijin (attack of the 50ft. woman-quese game), if you need someone to help you pick up and ship Brain Age to you it's the least I can do. ...and yes I ended up picking it up. as for the "Train simiulators" Densha de Go is probably the only series in mind. and for me the closest thing we have to it would be the train mini game in GTA San Andreas, where you have to get the train to another station on time and without derailing it. but yeah some of these sims are so damn interesting...aka Tokyo Bus Guide. Collateral Damage (Fireman Arnold) might not have Arab Terrorists, True Lies did... I thought XBL Arcade Games are tied to your XBL Account so that you can grab them again if you log onto your XBL account. Last edited by youruglyclone; 04-19-2006 at 11:56 AM.. |

Crap, I haven't even gotten around to listening to #25 yet. I guess today is as good a day as any for 2 hours of CAGcasts. It'll set me up to go to lunch.

Great CAG cast. I guess you two don't care about the new Command and Conquer game announced recently. I for one am psyched. If they bring back the old style cut scenes i'm so back. The original is what sparked the flood of RTS games so I think it bears mentioning that another is coming. I know it's not officially official. But seeing the screens and cover of the new PCGamer theres no doubt. Theres only one thing that could be. It would be so great if the guy who played Kain came back. Anyway, just letting you know if you didn't know this already.

I would hope Microsoft would have studied Valve's Steam in regards to the "my game machine broke" issue. When you open up steam you have a list of all the games on the Steam server you have a right to download. This is then split into two categoires: game you own which are currently installed, and those which are not currently installed. I would hope XBLM would have a similar system.
And as far as the CAGbag question about digital distribution, I think the question poser has a point. In the past if a company loses a license (such as the WWF license) they then are no longer able to manufacture new copies of the game. Will it be the same case with digital downloads? Once the developer loses the license will they be forced to take it off the central digital distrution system? If this is the case, then it becomes impossible for someone else to obtain it as one cannot (legitimately) purchase it second hand. |

Frankly, I prefer the not so structured format to the anal retentive outline format. I prefer to hear a little ad-lib. Wombat caught me off guard and made me laugh in public when he made the velcro shoe laces comment. Netted me a few puzzled stares on that one.
How about doing a This Week in the Forums segment where you chime in on the hotter gaming (non-sale) topics discussed amongst the CAGmunity? It wouldn't really have to be weekly since we aren't entertaining all of the time but it might make for good filler content. My 2 cents. Oh, and Cheapy, is it really that hard to add a 51,xxx members and growing banner at the top of the homepage? Hell, you could even flaunt the size of the forums database if you need to "show your size" if you will... |

To correct you from the show Call of Cthulu is a FPS adventure game. Like Metroid Prime kind of. Just with more of a Eternall Darkness/Survival Horror slant to it. Also the first portions of the game you don't have any weapons you're just an investingating private detective. It's also from Bethesda the makers of Oblivian. It's a great atmospheric difficult at times game. I highly recomend it.

10! The reason why this cagcast was so great is you hardly said the same things from past cagcasts (except near the end) and you actually knew what the hell you're talking about. I think CheapyD's outline is often filled with things Wombat knows nothing about so his color commentary goes to fart and burp noises. OMG you didn't do any fart or burps noises! No wonder why I loved this one so much.

Seriously, Cheapyd must have the worst gas of all time. Just the sound of his burps makes me want to throw up. I couldn't imagine smelling those nasty things. |

Wombat, all the stuff you download on Xbox Live Marketplace is indeed backed up on Microsoft's end. Everything is attached to your Gamertag, so you can redownload anything that you have previously purchased without any problems.
In fact, I actually do this quite a bit as I take my GamerTag with me on a memory card to my friend's house. Then I transfer the GamerTag on to his 360 hard drive and redownload the games I've purchased. Now as long as your GamerTag is on that hard drive, your friend can log into his account and play the full versions of the games you have purchased even if he hasn't bought them. It's a nice little feature that most people don't know about. As soon as you take your GamerTag off the hard drive, though, your friend will only be able to play the demo versions.
