Contains snippets from next Nintendo Power. Confirms Tony Hawk, Spongebob, Bob Ross. Says Revenge of Shinobi, Kid Icarus, and Link to the Past will be on Virtual Console (sadly not as Rev titles...yet). Yoot Saito (Odama) is working on something, saying "I promise you'll like this one" (which to me sounds like he's admitting Odama is .....meh). Iga (Castlevania) says he's busy with DS, but is interested, but no further comments.

This is still rumored.

Says the nunchuck attachment has motion sensing capability as well (i.e., in addition to the Wangmote). Seems like overkill to me, but I'll wait to try it out. FPS games are cited as able to handled better. Someone at PGC.com's forums suggested doing an actual kamehameha from DBZ (or a hadoken for all you SF fans). Seems like a nice idea, but dual motion sensing almost seems like an increase in unweildliness. I guess we'll see.

Also, I have decided it should be called the Reggie. Not even the Nintendo Reggie. Just the Reggie. And his snarling face should be plastered on the front of the machine, ready to eat any machines near it. As such, this is how it will be powered. You will feed it Sega Master Systems, and it will give it power.

COWER IN FEAR AT THE AWESOMENESS THAT IS THE REGGIE, MORTALS.

If they call it the RS as speculated, I personally will go to random stores and write "Reggie's System" on the retail boxes.

13 days away, but I am sure more info will be leaked, so the hype machine gets going. Though Big N asked companies not to show the games till E3 and they will all be at Nintendo's booth so those CAGs goin to E3 can be lazy with the Revo. Ohh and I hear it has an official name but the price and release date will not be mentioned at E3, which doesnt make much sense.

I'm excited...partcularly about yet another format to own A Link to the Past on.

...and I'm pretty sure "The Reggie" would sell millions on principle alone. I'm all for it.

If the discs go into a slot cut into Reggie's mouth, and his eyes glow with the fury of Hell's mightiest warriors when you power on the system, I will make it into a shrine and praise him; I will forsake all others.

Funny, because Ubisoft had a huge spread about their Red Steel offering. So much for the NDAs.

If you look at the expression he's creating (Reggie doesn't wear expressions, he ing MAKES them) you can tell that he sees some poor sucker who is about to get his name taken. We all know what comes after that.

I should make that smaller and put it on my profile.

How you and RF find this stuff is beyond me - but they are always good for a laugh.

A friend of mine made that. I tried to make one, but his was superior. Mine was MSPaint ahoy all the damn way, except MSPaint bitchslapped my picture a few times.

I've had it on my hard drive ever since.

Yeah, but that was a special case that they allowed.

I know - it's all about creating buzz, which I think the piece did a good job.

The revolution is the first console I've been excited for since the Dreamcast. I can't wait.

“Similarly, don’t expect Nintendo to announce the Revolution’s launch date or price, although we will learn the final name of the system. We’ll also get a good idea of the launch lineup, which (if Nintendo sticks to the pattern of the past several E3s) will be playable on the show floor.

Nintendo will also likely announce more additional partners for its Virtual Console system (an online service that will allow users to download hundreds of games from previous Nintendo game machines, the Sega Genesis and the TurboGrafx gaming system). The company also has promised to reveal the final secret of the Revolution, though it’s anyone’s guess what that might be.” - Morris is Director of Content Development for CNNMoney.com

Nunchaku being motion-aware just makes it all the more painful that it's corded. They NEED to make a wireless version of this.
