I'm happy to finally get Darwinia! What a cool game, especially for $4

Didn't see if anyone else mentioned it but, don't bother with Auto Assault, it's a nearly dead mmorpg that is going offline sometime soon.

As of last Friday, I havent seen any of the new assortment here in Richmond. Maybe this week. I finished Godfather, so I need a new waste of time.

Wink

Yeah, must be restocks. I had to get True Crime NY, Bad Day LA & the Atari 2600 Activision classics, all for $4 each. Never got my emu on, now I can!

Picked up Psychonauts, the Atari compilation, and saw the other new assortment titles here in Va. Also picked up True Crime NYC out of morbid curiosity. I want to see if it actually works, unlike my Xbox version that crashes every 5 minutes.

I bought it for $5 about a year ago at Target. While TC1 works, TC2 has weird glitches --- like the guy's arm doesn't show up. Also, if you look on Amazon.com reviews, lots of peeps had issues with the PC version.

Wow, if a good laugh is worth $4 to you, try True Crime on your PC. I can barely get it to run on 1024 resolution, and this is on an AMD 64 3800 with an NVidia 7600 card. I know thats nothing to brag about, but point is I can run other modern games on higher resolutions perfectly fine. What a dog of a game.

It's a shame because it seems there is a decent game somewhere buried in all the awful code. Must have been really sloppy programming.

That's unfortunate. It is a decent game.

If you don't mind throwing good money after bad, you can always nab a PS2 version at CC on the cheap.

More restocks, just picked up Tony Hawk: American Wasteland & Runaway Road Adventure for $6 each in Plattsburgh, NY.

Then again, I got Bioshock Tues. My gaming priorities have shifted!

There is a wholesale store chain called Five and Below that stocks low price items (they have a website and store locator). Everything they carry costs $1 to $5, and the store here in Richmond stocks a small supply of PC games. Today I noticed they got a truckload of Act of War: Direct Action, Desperados 2, and a number of children's titles. And Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbit for Xbox. All $5, all new and sealed.

Oh yeahm they also have DVDs. I picked up Big Lebowski widescreen recently for $5. Check it out if you have one in your town.

Whoops. Apparently there's no "and" in "Five Below". I need to read store signs more carefully lol.
