This is so funny and sad. My girlfriend was looking for diploma frames for her sister and she thought it would be funny to see if anyone was selling their diploma, and sure enough she found one. This guy sounds really depressed.

This guy can't be serious. Sure, he says he is, but look at the price. He put himself in more debt just by listing those. Who is going to pay $14K for 2 useless diplomas? He's just trying to walk in the footsteps of the guy who sold his wifes wedding dress.

Yeah, but the guy who sold the dress was at least funny...I don't get sad when I read this (although I do feel badly for the man) because it comes across as whining.

Yeah, i'm just wondering how its possible that he hasn't found a decent job after all of these years and how he's been "forced' to resort to this. Its his school's fault but he has no fault at all...right.

I do feel very bad for this guy. But I believe him...a friend of mine worked for a while in the IT department of one of the largest architectural firms in NYC (we are both in IT). He was doing desktop support and getting paid twice what junior level design architects were making...they were getting paid around 30,000 a year with degrees and 5+ years in the field.

It is doubtful this item will sell but maybe he is hoping someone who is very rich will buy the items and use it for publicity. Like if Donald Trump or any other filthy rich executive bought them it'd be a drop in the bucket, and it would surely make internet and possibly mainstream news. That kind of publicity is worth more than what he's asking.

If someone doesn't buy it, he can get refunded on the listing fees.

Awww, poor dude who ƒucked up his life and is now whining and venting on ebay making others feel sorry for his self. I mean i DO feel some remorse but honestly, who the hell's gonna pay about 14k (the STARTING bid) of what he asked.

And if I were him... I would've definitely taken that 500$. Sounds like he needs it.

A pure, 180-proof shot of humanity. The evils of our culture.

I'd give him $5 bucks, but I gotta go buy some chicken fingers

I spent two quarters in architecture here at UC (supposedly the number one school for architecture in the nation) before switching majors. This is definitely positive reinforcement for that decision!!!
