The Best Buy in Midtown Manhattan has Guitar Hero set up on the big screen. I was rocking out for a couple of songs during lunch. Too bad they only have one controller though. Figured I'd share since some of you may want to take a break from work or whatever and head down.

I tried it out last time I was in NYC, the guitar was pretty f'ed up, but I still had a good time hamming it up.

Don't they all? The one on 23rd and the one on Broadway above Houston in the Village (I refuse to say "NoHo", no matter what) both have it hooked into the TV. The one on 86th has a demo as well. BB is pushing GH hard core.

I thought about buying this game... then realized that if I spent hours and hours mastering Guitar Hero, I'd just be a Guitar Hero god. I put my $70 towards the purchase of a real guitar instead ($330 shipped including amp, cables, etc.) Why not?

I can't believe they still have it out, I figured it would only be there a couple of weeks. I just spent my lunch hour there. A couple of guys playing, but I was able to get a couple of songs in. Was that any of you guys?
